I stayed at the resort for a business trip, but it was so much more than that! As I had two free days before work started, I asked the GM, Mr. Sharma, for advice. He went out his way to help me make last-minute arrangements for the most memorable and breathtaking private tour of Paro and it's most beautiful spots,... More

A beautiful, peaceful, local family-owned hotel with amazing riverside location. This is the best hotel for the airport, and for travel to and from Thimphu. It is also the top of its class for amenities and price. The hotel is based around a central building with gorgeous traditional woodwork, with the check-in foyer on the ground floor and restaurant and... More

It was beyond my expectation to find an amazing resort like this in a small country like Bhutan. Firstly, happy and smiling faces of the staffs at this resort illustrates happiness concept of this country. Great hospitality, tremendous facilities, prompt service and wonderful ambience of the resort captivated me. It was to my surprise that the modern facilities such as... More

This resort is AMAZING. It does the best job I've seen in Bhutan at combining Bhutanese traditional aspects with first-class Western resort accommodations. Tashi Namgay really has it all: a full spa - gorgeous steam room tiled with stone (the prettiest I've ever seen and I love steam rooms), brand new looking sauna and outdoor hot stone baths (in true... I was in Paro for a 3 days conference being held at Tashi Namgay Resort. Just a few minutes drive from Paro International Airport, Tashi Namgay strikes you as a vivid artwork. Inline with the cultural richness that Bhutan offers and engulfed with nature at its best, Tashi Namgay is an amazing abode in the himalayan kingdom. The conference went... More

the resort , located across the Paro airport, along the Paro river, and our cottage facing the river, was an excellent one. we were enchanted by the charming Bhutanese decor everywhere -in the lobby, dining hall and the bedroom suite allotted to us.The rooms spacious with all amenities -except wfi available only in the lobby. The grounds are beautiful with trees... Excellent hospitality. If you are looking for a great host in Bhutan, there you go. Tashi Namgay is the name for the no. one address in Paro. The Resort situated at the river bank and overlooking the airport has the most breathtaking place in Paro. We were at Tashi Namgay for our regional conference. The resort has the capacity to... As is the case with many hotels in Paro, this one is convenient to the airport. What sets it apart is its riverside location and luxurious lobby/restaurant. The staff, too, embody the Bhutanese emphasis on making everyone feel welcome and happy. My room was a standard and proved to be adequate.

Great Location, Indifferent Staff... Though the rooms are well furnished. We opted for the double bed rooms overlooking the Paro Airport Runway. The deluxe cottage rooms seem a bit stuffy and dated in decor and style.
