The hotel is situated at a fantastic location opposite Paro airport, along the Pa chu river banks. It was once an excellent hotel but ageing deterioration is clearly visible. The rooms are good and clean, but the service is below par. They take a long time to complete any service request. Same is the case with the restaurant, the costs... More

Tashi Namgay sits just beside the Paro Chu (river) bang opposite the airstrip at Paro & it's biggest advantage is it's location. The lawns & gazebos are lavish and offer you breathtaking nature views any time of the day. Very well behaved staff. However, the rooms & cottages could have better furnishings.

Situated next to the river, this is beautiful resort with very polite staff 9 mostly young girls). after the trek to Tigers nest you can take hot stone spa(book in advance, as it is difficult to get slots). you can easily walk to the river and most of the rooms offer scenic views. the room size is good too. the... The vast mountainous along with the calm flowing river will catch your attention as soon as you drive towards the resort. You will love the serene environment and ample fresh dose of oxygen in case you are from any other typical city dweller around the world. We spent the morning and evening playing with the stones on the river. A... More

This hotel is located by the airport, with a a nice view of the Paro Rinpung Dzong and, of course, the airport, itself! You will notice how very few planes arrive in and depart from Paro (and do not worry, there will be no noise to bother you!). Rooms were cozy, but more on the smaller side (not that it... More

One of the best resorts that i have ever stayed in during my trips. Its located very close to the airport and so you can witness the awesome ability of the pilots to manoeuvre and land the aircraft. It has a beautiful view of the dzong as well. The staff is very friendly, always ready to help. The room was... More

Stayed here for two nights and worries about noise from the airport were found to be unfounded. There were few planes and they were relatively small ones. The staff are extremely helpful, courteous etc and one has to remember that tourism in Bhutan is in its infancy. Breakfast was a bit disappointing, made worse by the low electricity wattage. It... We had. Very nice, large room at the back of the property (124) which was about four floors of perilous (no handrails) stairs away from the dining area. Not for the unathletic. The main problem with it was that it never got warm although the electrified bedding was nice to slip into but needed to be turned off to sleep.... More
