This is a nice place offering very big rooms with balconys. Unfortunatelly it is located just next to the airport far from the city center and it is conected with a poor road. That meand that when you get there you can only have dinner and you are stocked in the middle of nowhere. Food is very much ok. The... More

The exterior of the hotel looked good, but the room had a weary feel, lights were dim and the toilet can be quite dark at night. My friends stayed at the room no.135 and the toilet smelled terrible. Meals were ok. Later discovered that they has a gym room as well.

I can only say that this hotel has issues for travelers with mobility or cardiac problems. The rooms we were assigned were for a billy goat able to go up and down hills, but with pavements in very poor condition. It wouldn't have been as bad if the pavement and the stairs going up were in better condition. Even though... More

Tashi Namgay Resort Located on a rocky hill, overlooking Paro International Airport and the Pa Chu river, Tashi Namgay Resort is set amidst five acres of lush foliage and sprawling green lawns. It offers a calm and peaceful environment through amalgamation of traditional Bhutanese and modern architecture in its own unique style that also incorporates its concern for the environment... More

Our last hotel in Bhutan, and the best. Huge, comfortable rooms. Great bed, bathroom, furniture and furnishings. Excellent buffet supper and breakfast. Not far to the start of the fabulous Tiger's Next hike. Good conference room, where we had a lecture on Bhutan's Gross National Happiness project.

It was a perfect 2 nights stay at this resort. The room was big and nice. Staffs were very helpful. Wifi was strong. Location is perfect, by the river opposite the airport. Breakfast was perfect for a 3 stars resort. They also have a nice spa. If you need a hot stone bath, you have to reserve at least 3... More

This is a very very pretty property, set amidst apple orchards, and right on the river, with stunning views all around. The rooms are large and comfortable, nice bathrooms, adequate heating and hot water and a spa that serves the purpose, though not brilliant. The main problem is the food, which is very average (which can be an issue in... More

Tashi Namgay is a lovely place to stay. I thought the older rooms were more enjoyable than the newer ones, I'd recommend them most of all. The location is lovely in itself, but is a bit far from Paro, meaning that one is reliant on taxis. The food was fine, the balcony outside the bar and restaurant was totally lovely.... More
