We checked in the hotel on 29th and checked out on 1st Nov. This one has many pros and just few cons, so will mention the con first. 1. The deluxe rooms also vary in size and we had one which was huge and one a decent sized. But overall, the rooms can be made cozier. They lacked in warmth... More

I gave this resort one less star than I would have liked to. Service was good but there was a utility room under my room that had a pump that turned on and off constantly. Asked to be put in another room because of the noise and after returning from Tigers Nest found I was in the same block of... More

At Tenzinling, as a nice change of routine – the food was actually good. It was still the not-quite-Western-not-quite-Bhutanese food, but it was better prepared and fresher than in most other places in Bhutan. There is more variety on the buffet and quality is higher than in the other places we stayed. The hotel is well-equiped with a tea room... More

We stayed just for one day on 11 th Oct 2014. We could not get accommodation for the next day due to bungling by Tour operator. This was undoubtedly the best. The Hotel itself is a beauty; not necessarily from outside but once you enter it is a different world. The design is excellent. The rooms have privacy as well... More

Stayed at Tenziling hotel from 26-29 October 2014. The hotel is situated on a slope led by a rough track from the main road. It is located approximately 20 mins drive to the base of Tiger's Nest and Paro international airport. About 15 mins to Paro town centre. Some "general stores" around the hotel and nice paddy fields to the... More

I'm actually still at this resort (I use that term Very loosely. The room we got was clean and large. We had 2 twin beds, a desk, and a small table with chairs. There was a working TV, 2 pillows per bed and a heater for the room. We also had a nice balcony. The bathroom was large and had... More

This was our first stay in Bhutan, and our worst. I struggle to understand how any of the previous reviewers liked it. Everything went wrong. - despite having asked in advance for a quiet room, they put us next to the kitchen where the staff banged pots and shouted at the top of their voices. - the room we were... As you approach this hotel it looks good - clad in stone with typical Bhutanese wooden windows and door structures. It is also set back from the road which means one cannot hear the dogs barking through the night which in Bhutan is a real problem. We were shown to a nice room which was a good thing as my... More

We enjoyed our stay here. It's slightly out of town but that meant it was quiet and had lovely views. Staff were very polite and keen to help. The rooms were large, clean and came with a thermostat controlled radiator. Shower was warm too. Food is ok, but haven't seen anything above average elsewhere either. Local entertainment was fun pre-dinner.

I stayed 2 nights in September as part of the Paro part of my Bhutan trip. My room didn't have a functional shower yet the staff didn't offer to change my room. After trying to fix the shower by calling in the plumber, they still couldn't fix it. Finally one of the staff checked the shower and it was partially... More
