An excellent hotel with an amazing breakfast and a nice pool. The staff at the front desk was not as friendly as we expected but since this was the only negativ point we would absolutely recommend this hotel for a trip to Cambria.

Right up at the top of the hill, this lodge offers quiet comfort just a short distance from Highway 1. It is a series of buildings set around the main building which contains a restaurant and lounge. There are individual cottages available as well as rooms in one of the individual buildings. Our room overlooked the walking path which circles... More

Loved this quaint lodge! We have been traveling down RT 1 and it's definitely a perfect place to retreat... Just a few minutes off Rt 1, great restaurant (scallops are excellent!), comfortable rooms (ours had a fireplace)... The lounge has live music every night and they have a pool a hot tub - which is great after our long drive.... More

We usually stay on the beach in Cambria or San Simeon, but this time our little group decided to give Cambria Pines Lodge a try. TA reviewers didn't make it clear that CPL was a big group of buildings on a heavily wooded bluff overlooking East Cambria. They have lots of acreage and lots of rooms in lots of buildings... More

The grounds are very pretty, with many gardens for you to discover. Our accommodations were spacious -- we had a fireplace suite. There was a king bed, sofa with a coffee table, and two chairs. And additional chairs at two table/desks, and two more at a side table. There was also a mini frig (no freezer), and microwave and coffee... More

We spent 3 days and two nights in an adorable cabin. We had two fireplaces, kitchenette, living room and bedroom. Off of our outdoor patio we watched a doe and her baby walk by. The dinner that came with the room package was wonderful. After dinner we enjoyed the entertainment in the lounge. Would love to go again.

We booked this property for two nights through Hotwire so it was a gamble. I thought the gardens were lovely and the pool and hot tub were also very nice. We had a huge room and it was quite clean, but very drab and many things were broken. Not one set of blinds on the (three sets) windows worked. The... More

We stayed at the Cambria Pines Lodge on a good deal listed in our local paper. For $169/nt. it included lodging (ours was a king & fireplace. The latter not needed or used as it was summer), dinner entrees for 2 & a bottle of wine per night. The dinners we had were excellent & between the 2 nights we... More

My wife and I spent the weekend just as a day guest of the Cambria Pines Lodge a couple weeks ago. As a member of the wedding party my I saw the whole grounds of the lodge. It was beautiful throughout. From simple rooms, the bridal sweet, pool and gardens. All were fantastic. Staff was lovely throughout the day and... More
