Stayed here 2 years ago and although restaurant food was dreadful my lodge was lovely with amazing view and gardens superb so I really enjoyed my stay. Cambria is a wonderful place to visit one of my favourites on my California tour so I was really looking forward to my stay however the years have not been kind to Cambria... More

I took my girlfriend here for our trip up Pacific Coast Highway and I'm happy that I did. It's in a beautiful location and the staff was very helpful and wonderful. The restaurant on the property was great. My girl loved walking the property with flowers all allover.

This was truly a nice surprise!!! We booked the this Hotel as a night sleepover within our journey from LA to San Francisco. Since it is close to Hearst Castle we thought it was perfect. Unfortunately we just stayed 1 night, we really would have loved to stay more time, its a great place. Its so quiet and the grounds... More

This is a great hotel, our room was a true suit. living room had a murphy bed, couch, dinning table, fireplace. Bedroom was large with fireplace, balcony over looking wooded area with deer. Beautiful grounds, great bar and restaurant. We are already planning our next trip.

We love this place. I can't tell you how many times we have stayed. Always a mini suite or larger. This is a great place to recharge. It can be a bit rustic and the prices have increased with the new owners over the years. Great gardens and sometimes a free breakfast.

We have been coming to this spot for over a decade a couple times a year. Don't miss the newly added Holiday Lights (insane) that start the day after Thanksgiving. Have never seen anything like it. Turning into a mini Saw Dust Festival (in Laguna Beach) with cool crafted local artists. It is constantly being updated and remodeled, there are... More

Stayed two nights at the reasonably priced, lovely Cambria Pines Lodge! Comfortable room with a view of the pines, and an excellent cooked breakfast (included) in the dining room. Despite the terrible, ecosystem-changing California drought which has severely impacted agriculture and water use (including the fallowing of the organic kitchen garden at this sprawling resort), the jewel-box like, gated perennial... The last tiem we stayed in Cambria, it was one of the "closer to the beach/cliffs" hotels. For Labor Day weekend, though these were super pricey, so we opted to stay at Cambria Pines. We were pleasantly surprised at teh size of the accomodations. The kids had a murphy bed AND pull out couch, their own fireplace and tv. We... More

During our recent visit to California we stayed at Pines Lodge in Cambria. We had a really positive experience as we were accommodated in a recently renovated suite, with the balcony view of the mountains. It was absolutely lovely, with a retro bathroom, 2 fireplaces, etc...! I know some people have criticised this place in the past, but following the... More

Cambria lodging can be very pricey especially during the summer. I found a great package online that included lodging and dinner. My husband and I were checked in quickly but it would have been nice to hear more about the property since it was our first stay. We had a first floor room in the 200's bldg. The room is... More
