we have stayed here many times over the past five years. when we have booked the suites on a midweek special, the rooms are very nice and a great deal. sometimes you can get them for $100/night when they usually go for $289/night during high demand periods. it is preferable to get an upstairs suite as the noise of people... more

This is just not a nice hotel. I would never stay here again and visit the area often. Would have much preferred staying down by the water at one of the smaller hotels. Although not next to the ocean, everything smelled of mildew and was old. The building we were in was very worn and you could hear all of... more

We have stayed at Cambria Pines Lodge once before. The time we stayed before was in November of 2007. Our experience was great. We had a nice room with two queen beds at a very reasonable price. Sunday morning included a complementary breakfast that wasn’t extravagant, but satisfying. This year of our anniversary my wife and I decided to return... more

Cambria Pines lodge is located about 2 miles from the Ocean, tucked in a cozy neighborhood not too far from Cambria’s Downtown strip. This is a gorgeous little lodge type Hotel, with secret gardens around every corner.. The rooms were Condo Like, with a living room and bedroom. The living room had a fireplace with a “ready strike” Log placed... more

Booked this hotel thru hotel website, found promotion code from hotel thru Travelzoo.com. Rate was $99 not including taxes. PROS: Hotel Lobby - Rustic, country ambiance, very home like feeling. Friendly cat on premise. Imagine cabin like setting for hotel rooms. Staff - Very friendly, quick and efficient. Restaurant - Okay food - would compare to a Black Angus or... more

We arrived at the same time as some other guests and had to wait while they were checked in despite there being 2 receptionists. The 2nd receptionist was putting letters in envelopes, nice. The room was tatty to say the least but the repair man was very prompt to repair the broken window! Please note there is no a/c here.There... more

As we were driving from Los Angeles to San Francisco on our vacation, we decided to spend a night here as it was recommended by our friends. As we pulled in, the 'main house' (or lodge) has a very welcoming feeling with lots of flowers everywhere and very friendly reception staff. The bar area looked very nice and we decided... more

What a beautiful property. My husband and I were traveling with two adult female cousins, from San Francisco to Los Angeles, wanted a convenient place to stay while visiting Hearst Castle, and a nice area to explore. We wanted something comfortable for the four of us for two nights, and we got it! .. a two-room suite, with two bathrooms. Everything... more

When they describe this lodge as rustic, they are definitely not kidding around! I stayed here for a couple days on a visit to Morrow Bay and local wineries with my husband and his family. I would definitely avoid this place if you are at all picky about hotels or like to stay in nice hotels. I am probably somewhere... more
