Each of us loved the friendly and accommodating staff, going out of their way to help with anything. An excellent fresh breakfast was served in the main house and it was always more than I could finish. The staff was so geuine, they really made us feel they were happy we were there. Thats a feeling I don't get to... more

The price was high for a mid-week stay, but the pictures looked nice. However the room was not up to even hotel standards. The room was in need of some deep cleaning. The lamp shades, curtains, netting on the bed posts, mantle, picture frames, etc. were all dusty and dirty. The bathroom had peeling wall paper, an old worn out... more

My husband and I recently selected the J. Patrick House Bed and Breakfast in Cambria for our 11th anniversary 3 night weekend getaway. We loved everything about the experience! Our room had a quaint "cottage" feel complete with a fireplace which we thoroughly enjoyed each evening as we had the milk and "killer" chocolate chip cookies provided by the innkeeper.... more

We only stayed at the J. Patrick House for one night, but we enjoyed every minute of it! We arrived in the early afternoon to catch the wonderful hosted "wine & cheese hour". We sat in the lovely main log home at the fire side with all the other nice and interesting guests and had a great chat. The wine... more

We had a wonderful stay at the J Patrick House B&B after reading other reviews on TripAdvisor. We arrived just in time to check-in before the desk closed at 6:30, but Lori gave us as much attention as if she would be staying all evening, explaining everything we would need to know. We had a wonderful recommendation for dinner in... more

Charming B&B. Our innkeeper, John was very friendly and helpful -- even going so far as to show us the best way to polish the rocks we picked up at the nearby beaches. Yummy beakfasts, enjoyable social interaction with other guests during the happy hour with complimentary wine, dips and crackers. The cozy (gas assisted) log fire in our room... more

My partner and I stayed at the J Patrick House for one night on our way down the Pacific coast. Our stay was a pleasure from the friendly welcome to the cheese and wine laid on in the evening, the cookies and milk before bed, and the delicious homecooked breakfast before we left. Our room was comfortable and clean with... more

This is our fifth time back and every time is as great as the first. We always enjoy our stay when we come. It is very relaxing and the innkeepers are very helpful. This time we came back during Zen Fest and it was so much fun. We met some really nice people while we were out wine tasting. We... more
