Moonstone Landing is located right next to the ocean, with a water view or "partial" water view from many rooms. My wife and I took one of the partial view rooms which are on the side of the building but have windows that jut out a little so you can see the water if you stand next to them. It... More

We chose to stay in Cambria for a night as we were visiting Hearst Castle and Moonstone Landing certainly ticked all the boxes! Stunning location with fabulous sea views, a warm welcome when we arrived, a large twin bedded room (each bed was King size) with all amenities, very clean and perfect for our needs. The breakfast in the morning... More

Nice greeting by staff. We have been going to Cambria for 30 years. This is the nicest room we've had. We had a corner room, beautiful views of ocean. The room was very clean and maintained each day. Beautiful balcony and view. Light breakfast we took to our room because view was so beautiful. If you want eggs and bacon... More

Well, well. Looks like despite all the chaos of remodeling, you did yourself proud. Bet you win another Trip Advisor certificate! Like all the other guests, we LOVED the new flooring, we LOVED the new lobby bistro tables, we MARVELED at the updated pictures featuring the general locale, and we LOVED the enhanced breakfast, especially with the added protein (cheese,... I came up to Cambria for a solo adventure and this was the perfect place. I chose a room with a partial ocean view. This little Inn exceeded my expectations. I slept with my window open and could hear the ocean...It was so loud that it woke me up a few times! A big change from all the LA noise.... More

We chose Cambria as we wanted to visit Hearst the next day and it sounded nice. It certainly is, lovely views of the coast and sea, with a walkway along the side. We were offered a moderately priced upgrade to a sea view and it was the best view of our 3 week holiday, room had everything we could have... More

I very rarely give a 1 rating but in my many years of extensive travel, I did not experience so much grief due to terrible reservation management. I first booked an ocean front room for $270 for October 13. A while later I called Moonstone landing, talked with Mary and asked her to change the reservation date to October 11.... More

Stayed her for one night last month prior to our Hearst Castle experience. At check-in, Georgia was super helpful and informative. Room #206 had a partial view of the ocean which we loved watching while sitting at the table & chairs in the lounge part of the room. The room itself was spotlessly clean and quite spacious. There was a... More

We loved this hotel. It's small and super clean. The beach is opposite but you can't swim it's too rough and dangerous but the children had fun mucking about in the sand and ducking the waves (black sand), The breakfast was adequate. We were travelling with 4 children including a 3 month old baby. We got the feeling it was... More

Stayed here for 2 nights and had a lower floor partial sea view. The room is excellent with wooden floors and a fireplace( not needed by us!) plus a microwave and fridge. The bed is spacious and very comfy with plenty of pillows if needed. We even had room to put our 2 bikes in the room without cluttering it... More
