We stayed here for one night on our way up the Highway 1. The rooms were very dark, black painted floor and grey walls. Needed cheering up with some brighter colours. Our room was clean and served its purpose for one night, would not like to spend more time here. The breakfast is "different" they laid bread, bagels, yoghurt etc... More

I believe this place is being renovated, which is good, because the rooms are pretty funky. I'm a bare bones traveler, but the stained rug on the concrete floor and the windows that open to a cramped and noisy parking lot made me glad that we weren't planning on luxuriating in our room. That said, I think it's the best... More

This is a perfect hotel if you are just coming through the area and staying one or 2 nights. Perfect location and views are spectacular. There is a walkway along the cliffs right out side the front door making it perfect for evening strolls and watching the sunset. The rooms have recently been renovated and u can tell it was... More

We stayed one night on the way up to the Big Sure and would not recommend this inn to anyone unless it is completely modernised. I wasn't expecting much having read previous reviews but it was worse than I imagined. Having discovered the room I had booked was dark and uninviting with a painted black floor I did ask to... We went here because it was cheap. The room is quite large with TV. We had two good and comfortable queen beds. Bathroom somewhat run down with a poor shower. But overall it was ok. You can park right in front of your room. The breakfast however is awful. It is a fifteen minute walk from town but that is... More

Well what is positive is the location- just across from the ocean. There was a refrig in the room and it was clean. However I suspect there were code issues- like the smoke detector sitting outside the room! Bring slippers as there is only painted wood floor- no carpet. Holes in the wall and a hard bed. Don't think we... More

My husband and I arrived at 4 pm, check in is 3 pm. I was told he didn't think the room was ready, after speaking with someone he gave me a key. We parked in the parking lot which by the way is very small. We went into the room, I was going to set my purse down on the... More

Very average rooms. Office should be open for breakfast at 8.00a.m we were informed. No persons in offices at 8.30a.m we departed with several other couples. Telephoned later to complain but appeared not interested. Looking around the area much better value than THE MARINER'S INN

Pousada razoável. Paramos apenas para dormir. Desjejum é fraco. Os quartos são individuais. Há estacionamento gratuito. O que vale a pena é a localização (de frente para o mar) e o preço. Reasonable Inn. We stopped only to sleep. Breakfast is weak. The rooms are individual. There is free parking. What worth it's the location (facing the sea) and the... More

I had read reviews on this place. We were only in town for one night and nothing was available that was reasonable. I booked anyway. This place could use help from Hotel Impossible. Now, it was not a total super dump, bed was actually comfy and we did get a good night sleep. For a one night passing through town... More
