We are in the middle of our stay at this VERY PET FRIENDLY inn as I write this. I was very curious to see how our stay would go after reading the satisfied and not so satisfied reviews. Service here is helpful and pleasant always with a smile and willing. Upon first entering our Queen Suite "B", which is right... More

If you're not looking for a 5 star hotel, but you love the luxury of being right on a beautiful beach - the sound of the waves, the breeze in your face, the smell of the ocean, a beautiful beach long boardwalk- then this is the place for you. We had a dog-friendly room and it only had the basics... More

Mariners is located on Moonstone beach in Cambria, which is the best location. we found that the hotel offered the best rate and really great value for the price. rooms have been recently renovated and they offered a really nice complimentary breakfast in the morning. This property is just yards from the beach. Stayed here with my dog- another plus!!

Directly across from the crashing waves and dune walking path. The inn has an observation deck and a great deal for $99-- with a $25-- credit coupon when you eat at certain local restaurants. We ate at La Terraza Mexican Grill in Cambria for the $25-- discount, it was a great meal. The hotel is slightly dated but the location and... More

This inn was just what we had in mind - a comfortable and reasonable place to stay right on Moonstone Beach! Fire place in the room and the best breakfast included that we had on our trip up the coast. It was great that they included healthy breakfast items such as dried blueberries and cherries, non fat greek yogurt, ancient... More

We stayed a night at The Mariner's Inn and were impressed with the friendly welcome, good price and great location. When we were walking around the town we were greeted by Penelope, who had just finished work, and she helped us by recommending where to go and how to understand Cambria. In the morning we were watching whales as we... More

We arrived and I was immediately talking to one of the women who works there about her dog. (Buddy McDogus is his name) ;-). That was a good and welcoming sign for our two night stay. This little inn isn't fancy. They're going to do some floor remodeling soon. That is needed. Aside from that, it's charming and pretty cute.... More

We had no reservations and scouted around on Moonstone Beach Drive for a hotel for one night, prior to visiting Hearst's Castle the next morning. Even though almost all the hotels had lots of vacancies, they would not budge on price. Mariners advertises as the lowest priced place on the beach. Though decidedly low to middle end (the beach front... More
