We stayed for two nights over the weekend. I really liked the people at the hotel & I am happy we stayed there but did not feel it was as cute as I thought it would be based on the pictures shown on the Internet. It was nice and I would stay there again - but the photos on the... More

We stayed for 1 night when driving Route 1 from Monterey to Cambria and visited Hearst Castle on the way which is only a few miles away. Steps away from the stunning coastal walk and walking distance to good restaurants in the area. Friendly staff, lovely clean hotel room - what you would expect from a boutique hotel. Breakfast is... We were here for one night during our roadtrip from San Francisco to Los Angeles. We did this journey in 2 days and we selected Cambria as our stop destination. The hotel is nice with garage and the rooms are very spacious and modern. The breakfast was regular with everything that we needed. It was well fit for our needs.... More

Most of the hotels on Moonstone Beach Drive are similar styles, moderately priced with a scenic view and they feel a bit "a dime a dozen", but this one is very beautiful, short walking distance to both the beach walkway and the west village of Cambria's shops and restaurants, and for us, the staff were very accommodating and friendly. It's... More

Stayed at El Colibri on our drive from Frisco back to LA - and nearly missed the turnoff. Nice place - homely - in terms of the welcome and check in, elegant, largish rooms. A short stroll and you're at the beach. Interesting rooms though the large windows opened up onto a very desultory brush area. A small team seems... More

Stayed at El Colibri on our drive from LA to San Fran.. was a nice place to stay for the night..could use a better bar or a restaurant..though is only a short stroll along the boardwalk to some restaurants..was advised to try the Sea Chest, but was disappointed with the food, nice place to have a drink and watch the... Stayed two nights at El Colibri. Nice spacious and clean room. Larger bathroom. No mini-fridge as I had expected and appeared to be a space and electrical connection for. Other than that, good location, friendly staff and nice stay. Would recommend to others.

If you're looking a modern well priced option in the Cambia area you will should enjoy this Hotel. Although not in the heart on Moonstone Dr. this hotel offers access to the beach walkway that runs along moonstone beach. This hotel offers nice little touches like spa robes, a Keurig pod coffee maker, tub bath & separate shower and a... More

We stayed at Cambria midway of our driving trip from LA to SF. It's a very nice hotel for couple with spa facility. The steam room was open till 11PM. We were with our little 20 month old girl. She enjoyed the big room walking around the bedroom and the living area. And the bathroom was big and clean. Breakfast... More

Such a relaxing and amazing place. It was just what we needed for the perfect getaway! Having the village so close by was made it the perfect location. The plan is to go back and stay longer. The staff are so attentive and responsive.
