We stayed at the hotel for the weekend after dropping out children off at camp. We loved every aspect of our stay. We were offered an upgraded room with a hot tub. The rooms were modern, warm, filled with every amenity one would find at the Four Seasons and then some. The breakfast was divine. The common area for breakfast... More

We have stayed at El Colibri multiple times. We are fortunate enough to live on the central coast so every time we want to get away for a night we go here. The rooms are elegant and spacious. One of our favorite get always, the price is very reasonable for all that you get.

Here for a one night staycation (from Paso) with the hubby. Check in was easy and staff were friendly. We had a corner queen deluxe room that was quite big and nice with the exception of the mold in the bathroom. Deep soak tub and large walk in shower were really nice as well. It's a really peaceful and pretty... More

We stayed for one night on a trip from SFO to LAX. What a lovely retreat. The rooms were very spacious and clean. Hotel has two floors and complete with steam rooms and spa. The hotel has a very generous continental breakfast. There is no restaurant, but offer wine and beer plus Tapas until 11pm at night. Its only a... More

Expected it to be nice but was better than I thought. There was not time to use the spa facilities but they looked inviting. The room was set up well as I asked for two beds, fireplace added romantic feel.

We have stayed in Cambria dozens of times but this was our first stay at El Colibri. We usually stay at the Fireside Inn, which we love; but they do not yet have a Tesla charger. So, we stayed down the street, farther from Moonstone Beach boardwalk but not more than a short stroll away. El Colibri was a pleasant... More

We live nearby, and were looking for a boutique hotel for a one-night anniversary celebration. And we found El Colibri---a very classy, well-appointed, small-to-medium establishment in the western part of Cambria. The room was large and beautiful, the service excellent (and personable), parking convenient, (in the hotel basement), and evening snacks very tasty. We did not try the wine "happy... More

Nice spacious rooms and a quiet place to stay. Elegant bathroom in the king room where we stayed on the back of the property. Continental breakfast was ample and inclusive. Couldn't give the maximum store for a few reasons. Booked a special rate that included arrival sangria. Person at check-in desk had no knowledge of the perk but complied anyway.... More

We wanted an overnight stay en route to San Francisco. I googled hotels on Cambria and there was a list. Somehow El Colibri caught my attention. It did not disappoint. Good service. Luxurious king size suite, enormous bathroom and very clean overall. We had tapas for supper and was well made. Price was reasonable and included breakfast, it was enough... More

Check in very easy, on site parking and short walk to room. Room very plush and roomy - big comfy beds, bathroom fab. Jacuzzi/spa available, unfortunately weather too cold to enjoy. Only downside (if you can call it that) was the breakfast buffet - limited in its content.
