Drove up the coast to Cambria after 3 nights camping on the beach in Carpinteria. First time staying at the White Water Inn. Had a gift certificate which saved us some $$. The inn is on Moonstone Beach, directly across from the ocean. There are a lot of similar inns all along the same road. This property has 18 rooms,... more

I have been staying at the WWI for over 10 years. I have stayed at other properties on Moonstone Bch Dr, but by far the WWI is my favorite. The location is at the end of Moonstone Bch Dr. so you get little to no traffic. The staff is wonderful. Carole, Ellie, Patrick, and Tim always take good care of... more

For the last 8 years we have stayed at the Whitewater Inn every year for our anniversay. If we can, we add another trip or two there. We have never been disappointed. The staff is beyond accomodating. My husband has a bad back and a few years ago the bed was too soft. I asked if there was a possibility... more

Ok, the rooms are small and there is no AC but everything else is great. It is located directly across the street from a beautiful beach so you can watch the sun setting. Breakfast is delivered to your room in the morning at the time you specify. And get this, they wash every window on every guests car in the... more

What a beautiful location and a terrible staff (even housekeeping looks like the have been tortured). The room was clean and the muffins simple, but tasy. Grounds are not conducive to relaxing unless you are in your room or across at the beach. We had a nice time as long as we didn't have to interact with the staff. They... more

We are only into the first week of our six week trip around the US. We stayed at the White Water Inn for 3 nights in August and had a great stay. Our room was very comfortable with plenty of room and the continental breakfast was a great start to the day. There are loads of flowers around the property... more

It far exceeded our expectations being spotlessly clean, comfy beds , a simple continental breakfast delivered to your room and in a lovely location overlooking moonstone beach. It was so relaxing as a place and we actually preferred it to the Fairmont we had... more

My wife and I wanted to get out of LA for a couple of days and just relax. We wanted to go up the coast and decided on Cambria. The White Water Inn offers this unbelievable deal that includes two nights lodging, directly across from the Pacific Ocean, a $50 dollar gift certificate for a dinner at numerous local eateries,... more
