My wife and I stayed at the Bridge Street Inn with our 15 month son and had a great time! It was our first time in a hostel with our young one and it went really well. We stayed in a private room which was quite reasonably priced. The staffs were very welcoming and helpful. The hostel is a beautiful... More

As my BFF would put it...it is a 5 STAR Hostile! My husband told me it was a B&B or shamefully I may not have stayed...booked room #5 with a full size bed...you get 2 great windows, night stand and table/ chair with a full size mirror. Everything else is communal. If you don't like that or are a germaphobe... More

This hostel was seriously like staying in someones home, a very beautiful old building and welcoming staff, easy to meet people and enjoy a chat. Only very small with room for about ten people, but run sustainably, lovely garden area, just amazing. I unfortunately only stayed one night, but it was great, an easy one block walk to restaurants, pubs,... More

I stayed here in February 2009 (yes, a while now) as a halfway stop point while driving from LA to Sacremento. The town is an antique-filled little gem off the main road. I tell everybody about it whenever I talk about my round the world trip. The inn is adorable, with a great entertaining area outside where backpackers can share... More

Bridge Street Inn is a hostel style accommodation with dorms and private rooms. The building is over a hundred years old and has a warm homely feel. The staff are welcoming and friendly. Wifi is stable and free. The Bridge street in is run sustainably. The place just feels like home. It's great! A full kitchen is available if you... More

Bridge Street Inn is a model for what the hosteling experience should be. The moment I walked in I didn't feel like I had a place to stay, I felt like I was being welcomed into a home. Great location, super cool owners and staff. Super cute on the outside and in. Considering bringing a short extension chord in case... More

This is a very satisfactory hostel set in a large old house that has been converted. I stayed in a dorm and was the only person in the dorm. Plenty of blankets and sheets to stay warm and comfortable enough. WIFI is good, kitchen is serviceable (very good, healthy breakfast included) and the shower had plenty of hot water. Cambria... The exterior of this place has a cottage-like charm to it with its white picket fence, shutters and floral garden. It’s super cute. You almost expect Mary Poppins to come prancing to the front door offering you a spot of tea. Instead, what awaits you when you walk through the door is a cold front and an indifferent "whatever" attitude.... More
