Stayed for 1 night while traveling up the CA coast. Originally had a king with no view but upon arrival asked for King with patio/ocean view. I'm so glad we did, it was lovely, watching a beautiful sunset over Moonstone Beach. I would suggest getting a room with a patio, I believe there are only 4 of 5 of them.... more

Cypress Cove Inn was lovely (right across the beach) on Moonstone Beach Drive. The room was lovely, the bed was comfortable. The fireplace was a nice touch. I had booked the room via the hotel web-page, but when we arrived the claimed that we allready had stayed there one night and left 3 days ago. Funny, never happend before. Stayed here 9/10-9/12. Pluses: great location on Moonstone Beach and O.K. decor. Liabilities: skimpy on the Continental Breakfast, no P.M. wine and cheese (only cookies). We loved the charming english cottage ambiance of the Cypress Cove Inn. Our spacious ocean view room with fireplace was the perfect spot to watch the surf and sea otters. Breakfast was wonderful with fresh pastries and croissants from a local bakery. Friendly and helpful staff, we will definitely return! more
