Wonderfully friendly check in and bag of cookies put us in good mood to chill out to sounds of the sea whilst relaxing in our 2 room suite with fire and lovely spacious clean interior. Nice to relax in the pool & jacuzzi and breakfast included. At about 200 dollars it was steep price but left refreshed, relaxed and calm,... More

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the location, the staff, the room, and the facilities. They served a hot breakfast which was nothing special, but the dining area and staff people were very nice. We will absolutely stay here again when we return to Cambria. This was an excellent travel experience.

Good location, in front of the ocean; rooms are large and comfortable, our with open fire. Breakfast below average. Hearst Castle not too far.

We had a great time staying at the Fogcatcher Inn. The hotel is located in a stunning spot, looking out across a beautiful stretch of coastline. As for the rooms, they are pretty big and roomy and very comfortable. We liked the cookies at reception and the staff were friendly and helpful. All in all, we had a great stay.... More

This is our second trip to Cambria. We previously stayed at Cambria Pines Lodge, loved it, but thought we wanted to be across from Moonstone Beach. After reading the reviews, we decided on FogCatcher based upon location and amenities (pool, hot tub and breakfast). We found the room with the two beds to be cramped. The room would probably be... At the FogCatcher Inn we take pride in offering our guests a clean and quiet escape. We provide many outdoor areas to relax and view the ocean. It is unfortunate that our bus group departed early during this guest's stay. We have met with our group operator and discussed the issues raised by the guest. We hope to have the... More

We stayed here for one night in October 2009 on our way from LA to San Francisco. I would most certainly recommend the Fogcather to anyone looking for a good value, quality hotel. The room was cosy, warm and well appointed. The location is fantastic. Breakfast was included, which was very handy! The heated outdoor pool is also a nice... More

We stayed for only one night so we could visit the Hurst Castle. Wished we had more time to stay longer. Very friendly front office staff with nice warm cookies, quiet location with great views and wonder places to walk along the ocean. Would recommend to friends and would love to go back.

Stayed one night after touring Hearst Castle which is only a few miles away. Very friendly welcome. Since it was off-season, I asked for a different room, closer to the ocean, and got a charming studio room with a fireplace - at no change in price! Quiet at night. Breakfast was standard fare, but in a clean, well kept dining... More

as i drove down the California coast with my wife, i realized that the life i was living was a joke, and nothing i had ever seen has compared to what the Fogcatcher has to offer. The ocean breeze has a scent of success with every breath you take. The people are warm and welcoming and i would have nothing... More
