We stayed in the Family Suite here last August. It was dark, dirty and depressing. The furnishings and carpets appear to have been there since the 70s. If you want a wine glass you won't find it in the ill equipped kitchen. For that you have to ask at reception and are told to carry the glass back to your... More

On the plus side, this hotel (really more of an upscale motel) is in a lovely setting, with the Pacific right across a fairly quiet road. It was great to listen to the waves crashing on the shore at night with our windows open, and the rooms are rather large. There is a great boardwalk-style walking path right across the... More

My husband and I booked a last minute stay in Cambria last weekend. One if the few rooms in the town left was at the Fog Catchier Inn. It is on Moonstone Beach Drive which is a lovely place to stay. Across the street is the ocean which is lined with a walking path. It is also two doors down... More

We stayed for a few days in the family suite and it was amazing!!! Huge well appointed apartment! Great grounds, room and service service service. The staff is so helpful and outgoing and accommodating. Everyone was so friendly and really great. Erin checked us in with so much enthusiasm and information about the area and Karen was so helpful when... More

My husband and I met friends in Cambria. We were delighted with the FogCatcher Inn. Located directly across a narrow street from a beautiful beach. A convenient walking path along the beach from the hotel to the town of Cambria. Our room was clean, comfortable and charming. We met friends from San Francisco and they also enjoyed the FogCatcher Inn.... More

We (husband, son, dog, and myself) stayed one night on our way to Yosemite. I was really looking forward to how quaint it looked and sounded from the reviews on line. We had never been to Cambria. Parking right at your doorstep which was very convenient. First impressions were good - nice decor, quiet, and the beach right across the... More

The hotel is in the most fantastic setting and it was great to be able to step out of the drive, cross the road and on to the boardwalk by the beach. Great to hear the sound of waves crashing on the shore from the room. Helpful welcome from the front desk when we arrived. The rom was small but... More

We stayed here for 3 nights with my family of 3 in one two-room suite and my in-laws in a regular room. Their room was dark and ok sized but not great. Our two-room suite had a great layout (2 actually separate rooms which is nice when you have a 5yr old going to bed a lot earlier than the... More

We saw seals in the waves and pelicans too. Pool and spa and firedeck great for the kids. Boardwalk along beach. Great meal at Moonstone Bar and Grill. Staff there were great. Short drive to Hearst Castle. Great stopover San Fran to LA.
