There are a lot of properties on Moonstone Beach, but I doubt that any of them could compare to the luxury of the Blue Dolphin Inn. I've read that the property was very recently refurbished, and it's obvious that they spared no expense. Every detail has been considered for its aethetics. The result is an inn that is gorgeous and... more

We stayed at the Blue Dolphin Inn for one night and were delighted with the hospitality, room quality and location. We would definitely stay there again - it's right across from the water and a wonderful walking path right on the ocean. The room was well appointed and quiet. The ladies at reception were very welcoming and friendly. Great find! more

We found this Inn to be perfect in every way. Apparently the Inn was recently remodeled and the quality of the finishes and amenities was exceptional. I've never before commented on the quality of tei in-room hairdryer and my husband was pleasantly surprised by the radio! They also had water and towels at the back of the parking lot to... more

Recently refurbished and rooms are modern and comfortable. Check in can be a problem with only one receptionist. Great location, hard to beat. If you plan to stay splash out on the ocean front rooms it is worth the extar. more

We loved Cambria and we enjoyed staying at the Blue Dolphin Inn. I probably would have rated it a 5 if I had splurged for an ocean view room, but I had probably the cheapest room (King Superior) so my windows faced the parking lot and not the ocean and the room was right behind the receptionist’s office, which was... more

We loved our stay at the Blue Dolphin Inn during the last week in August. The hotel is newly renovated and super clean. The location can't be beat as it is right across the street from the ocean, which means you can fall asleep each night listening to the crashing waves. This is the perfect place to go and relax... more

We drove from San Francisco to los Angeles and stopped in Cambria which was about half way. Our regret was only booking 1 night in the Inn, we would love to have stayed longer (3 days might be good to see the whole area including Hearst Castle). The Inn has very recently been refurbished. Our room was fresh, clean and... more

This was our stop on our drive from San Fran to LA down PCH - what an amazing drive. We made a reservation here after reading other reviews and we were not let down. What a great little place!!! The renovation is gorgeous, the rooms are amazing - MUCH better than the Hilton we came from in San Fran. Everyone... more

The room was beautiful-we stayed at an oceanfront room. The bedding was superb; the pillows were great (each of us had 2 choices, firm and fluffy). Nice fireplace which we didn't use-it was too warm outside. The receptionist showed us how to operate everything and showed us where the Otis Spudmaker cookies were located. Although there is a street between... more

We just returned from two nights at the Blue Dolphin. It is across the street from the ocean, which we could hear from our room. The staff was warm, the bed was delicious (as were the breakfasts to go, which we ate on our patio overlooking the ocean), the bathrobes were dreamy and the ambiance was soothing. From the inn,... more
