Not only was this place cool with my very old 85 lb FRIENDLY pit bull (all those there, guests and staff alike were oh-so-kind to him), but this place is FUN! Saturday nights took my old pooch w me to the concert one block up (was Beatles great hits, all the kids stroked him). And within walking distance are the... More

I stayed here while at a dog agility trial in the area, with my two dogs (I love Motel 6's dog-friendly policy). It was fine. The room wasn't particularly small, the bed was comfortable, the staff super friendly, and it was quiet enough at night that I got an excellent sleep. The bathroom even had a bathtub (in my experience,... More

Stayed here for 2 nights. The room was indeed very small, but sufficient. Ample parking. Got more towels easily upon request. (There were 4 of us in the room.) Shower worked just fine. Can't speak about the staff; my sister checked us in, and she didn't mention any problems. Unless you need a lot of room to spread out, this... More

We stayed for 1 night a few weeks back. First impressions were positive with the Motel 6 being easy to find from the 101. There seemed ample parking space and a nice (but small) pool. The staff on reception were friendly too. We got the shock of our lives when we went to our room though...it was tiny. With 2... More

We've stayed here several times before and were quite satisfied, but something has defintely changed. It may be something as simple as the motel being completely full, but for whatever reason, our experience was totally different this time and we'll never be back. In our room, the bathtub/shower did not drain AT ALL -- water up to mid-calf level. Even... More

I stayed at Motel 6 in Camarillo for a short business trip. I wasn't expecting much because as you know Motel 6 is low budget. However I was surprised to find that this is the cleanest Motel 6 I have ever stayed at...I mean really clean. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. The manager was such a doll... More

My husband and I stayed here taking care of some family business for five nights and had a completely different experience than the three negative reviews. I notice the other reviews are 3-5 years old. Perhaps the management has changed in the interim. I am generally leery of Motel 6, but had heard from a friend that the Camarillo one... More

Alas, we were just plain tired. On our way to Santa Barbara we decided to stop and stay somewhere cheap for the night. Bad choice- If you find yourself in this situation I would recommend you keep going to your destination if possible. If you don't mind rude staff that quite frankly hate their job, dingy rooms that I personally... More

The clerk on duty insisted on getting my driver's license information, including birth date, and recorded it in the system. The poster on the was specifically said that Motel 6 does not require DL, but the clerk refused us a room (already paid for over the web) unless a DL was given. The room smelled, light switch was not working,... More
