Stayed here for 3 nights, and no complaints, but it is definitely a budget hotel compared to something you might think of it Napa Valley. The bathrooms are in rough shape, but clean. Rooms were clean as well. Just on the edge of town so you can walk to everything.

We (2 couples) get away every year for New Years Eve. This year, we decided to go to Calistoga and stayed at the Comfort Inn. It had been about ten years since we've been here. Check-in was super fast. The rooms were nice. It was nice to have two comfortable chairs as well as a desk to sit at. The... More

We were so disappointed and disheartened to understand that the Comfort Inn - an otherwise quality organization - has refused to extend a credit certificate to stay at the hotel My wife and I prepaid $348.00 to stay at the hotel. We couldn't meet the timeline and asked for an opportunity to stay at the hotel at a future date... More

I would like to clarify as there are quite a few omissions made by the reviewer. The guest booked a stay for September 2014, choosing the discounted ADVANCED PURCHASE rate bookable by the general public on the Comfort Inn Global Website. In return for a generous discount, the rate is pre-paid and non-cancelable, which is clearly indicated at the time... More

This is a very nice motel on the edge of Calistoga. Extremely quiet. Clean and a lovely breakfast including hot eggs and sausage in addition to the usual "motel" fare. Staff friendly and helpful also. Would definitely stay here again for the price compared to other places in this resort area. Only down side - only 1 lamp between beds... More

The hotel was nice and all employees were very helpful and welcoming. The rooms could use a little updating but were very well kept for the most part. The hotel is a nice distance from shops in Calistoga and is easily accessible to the many wineries in the area.

Came into Calistoga for a seminar at the Culinary Institute of America. This hotel was booked by a travel agency for $270+/night. Grout in bathroom was moldy; carpeting torn by the sliding door was torn, bedding smelled and the room was dark and dingy. I stayed one night because we drove from Oakland Airport and checked in at 1 am.... More

As others have said, the people who work here are phenomenal. Thank you Sean for your courtesy, efficiency and professionalism - your sunny and pleasant personality at the front desk. Kelly was great about turning up the hot tub temperature and getting us another robe. The rooms etc are shabby. Almost $300/night - wow! Hard to believe people pay this... More

Took out of state guests to tour the California wine country. Needed a reasonably priced place to stay for one night. This was a midweek visit and the prices were great compared to other hotels in the area. Many were hundreds of dollars more. This hotel is located in Calistoga which not only has wineries but spas that provide mud... More

Room was warm and clean. Bed and pillows were soft. Free hot spring pool and other spa facilities are nice. Breakfast area is in the reception so not very comfortable to have a relaxing breakfast. But they let us carry our breakfasts to our room. A little bit far from town, but still 10 minutes walking distance.

We were going to different wineries in the area, so we wanted to stay somewhere close to the vineyards without breaking the bank. This hotel is very clean, staff has been super friendly, and walking distance to cute shops/yummy restaurants. Other hotels near here were more expensive and since we're only sleeping and showering, why pay more? Happy we chose... More
