I don't even know where to start. Everything. Was. Perfect. Peter and Phillip have really done everything perfectly. They are very friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the area. Here are some highlights: - Luxurious design but very comfortable - Ridiculous gourmet 3 course breakfasts that you couldn't even find at the fanciest brunch place - Quiet, peaceful and zen like... more

Been to the Napa Valley many times... The wife found CDV many years ago and we have been back many times. Wanted something off the road, in the middle of a vineyard with 360 views, great service and stylish contemporary furnishings.FOUND IT! In Chateau de Vie. We were encourged to walk the vineyards before breakfast with a cup of coffee... more

My husband and I stayed here for one night in mid-May. We were upgraded to the guest house (larger and more privacy). This property is located in the middle of the vineyard owned by the proprietors. Words cannot begin to describe how tranquil it is. The multi-level decks on the back of the main house are wonderful and look directly... more

We arrived to CDV on a Friday, expecting to have a wonderful time in the Valley. Our stay in CDV was the highlight of the weekend, with a friendly service, good food, excellent and confortable room. more

It is so hard to know where to start with CDV. We've stayed in some nice hotels in our life, but there is something very very special about this place. The area is stunning, the house and setting just beautiful, and the hosts - Peter & Philip - are too lovely for words. The place is spotless, and you feel... more

Peter and Philip are outstanding hosts which makes this the ideal B&B in the Napa Valley. The house itself is very warm and friendly. The surroundings are gorgeous. It is a great place to start and end your day. The wine and cheese Happy Hour are a nice touch and allow you to mingle a bit with your fellow guests,... more

What an amazing place! We thoroughly enjoyed every moment of our recent stay at the CDV. Our room was in the carriage house had a private porch that was set right in the CDV's vineyard. A tray with a pot of the CDV's own blend of coffee was set outside our door every morning. What a lovely touch! Breakfast was... more

Wow! We've stayed at the Chateau twice (once in November, and once in April) and it's like staying at a five star hotel without the snooty valet and extra fees. This is not your lace doily and dusty antique filled inn with threadbare carpet and a lumpy mattress! Everything about the facility is first class, from LCD television (with more... more

Even though you do your research, you never know until you get to a place if it lives up to your expectations. I'm picky and not a big fan of B&B's (too beholden to the owner's quirks) but I have to say that Chateau de Vie exceeded my expectations. It's a beautiful and tasteful home, grounds, and surrounding vineyards. Plus,... more
