Chateau de Vie is hands down the nicest place I have ever stayed at. When I say nice, I do not only refer to the room or property itself, althoug both the room and the property were really nice. The hosts Phillip and Peter do everything possible to make your stay enjoyable. Just read the reviews and you get the... More

This was our fourth time staying at Chateau de Vie and as always, it was awesome. The views are great, the facilities are top notch, the food is exceptional, and the hospitality extended by Peter and Phillip was over the top !

The reviews are right- Chateau de Vie is probably the nicest accommodation I have stayed in anywhere, ever- enough to make me right a TripAdvisor review of my own. My partner and I stayed in the small unit away from the main property, with a private breakfast area among the vines. Peter and Phillip are perfect hosts, and their love... More

Peter and Phillip were wonderful, they were so nice but left us to ourselves. We actually visited May of 2013. The property was beautiful, we went out around the town after breakfast and spent the early evening back at the Chateau. With wine and cheese in the evening and a wonderful breakfast it was the best! We stayed in the... More

Peter and Felipe go above and beyond to make our,and all of their guests feel like they are special. Of course I MUST comment on the breakfast as it is unsurpassed in anything I have found . We stayed in Chateau de Vie for 4 nights in Mid-June; I selected this place solely based on great reviews here and was expecting something exceptional but my expectations were greatly exceeded Many people speak about friendly owners - but they are not just friendly, - they treat you like a close family (thank you, Peter) Many people speak about... Peter and Phillip make the Chateau de Vie the most warm, welcoming and FUN! place to stay. Absolutely not one single detail is left out of this magnificent B&B. The breathtaking views, immaculate home, delicious breakfasts on the patio every morning and impeccable service by every single person is simply amazing. I cannot say enough wonderful things about it. I'll... More

Having spent a weekend here, it's easy to see why CDV has an almost unblemished string of 5-star reviews. The setting is perfect for relaxing (as we did) or for touring wineries, while the room was probably the most comfortable in which we stayed during a tour of California, the coffee outside the room in the morning was a great... I cannot say enough about how wonderful our experience was at Chateau de Vie. So special and beyond all expectations. I cannot wait to return soon! Philipe was more than welcoming upon our arrival offering us wine, a beautiful cheese plate, snacks, a tour, restaurant recommendations, and spectacular conversation. I could listen to his stories all night. You cannot beat... More

More of a luxurious stay with great friends than B&B. This is THE perfect place to stay when visiting Napa Valley; this place far exceeded every one of my expectations! Where to begin? The Chateau is this beautiful home with gorgeous ivy growing all over it. It just oozes charm at every corner. There is no detail left behind or... More
