What a fantastic Inn! It's like being in your own little "neighborhood" in beautiful cottages! You sit out on your own porch in wicker rockers, as the other guests pass by and say hi! The breakfasts are amazing, the afternoon wine and cheese is wonderful, and the entire staff is friendly, helpful, and attentive! They don't miss a single detail... more

The best place I have ever stayed! It is truly romantic. The staff is ever so friendly. On our second trip to CGI (stayed in the Tuscany Room) the staff had a bottle of champaign waiting for us w/ a note welcoming us back, congratulating us on our anniversary and wishing us a long endearing life together. Touches like that... more

My Husband and I stayed at the Cottage Grove for our annual pilgrimage to the Napa Valley for our November anniversary. This is our second stay at the CGI. I did not think it could be improved but they managed to think of a few more details to make it a perfectly romantic get away. I love the fact that... more

My husband and I recently stayed just one quick night at the Cottage Grove Inn while on some business in the Calistoga area. We had toured the property 10 or 11 years ago and since we live not too far away, could never come up with an excuse to stay until now. I have to say that I was totally... more

Our anniversary getaway turned out to be all we hoped for and more... Chose the Cottage Grove Inn for good reviews and location., and size (18 cottages). It was wonderful! General mgr. Donna takes excellent care of the property, provides useful and well-organized information, and treats you like a real guest in her home. She anticipated what we needed -... more

We stayed at the Cottage Grove Inn for our honeymoon in September 08. It could not have been a better choice! The stand-alone cottage was perfect - just big enough for two people. The bathroom was very spacious and we loved the hot tub. Since it was hot - we didnt get to use the fireplace. The staff was so... more

This place is perfect for a romantic getway. Each cottage has a different theme, and it is so cozy and wonderful. Deep 2-person tubs, great sound system and excellent hosts providing wonderful recommendations for activities. Like a resort hotel only much more personalized. Each room also has a register for people to record their memories in. Can't wait to go... more

We spent our first anniversary here in June and loved it. The decor was tasteful done and provided a relaxing setting. Nice or extra touches: special anniversary card welcoming us, classical music playing in the room upon arrival, free bikes to ride (take advantage of the scenery along the Silverado Trail), free wine/cheese, helpful staff. We hope to be back... more

Stayed for five days of a ten day vacation and should have stayed there the whole time. Our cottage was clean and comfortable with nice linens, good bath products, and good custom blend coffee. Nice breakfast and evening cheese and crackers. Every request was handled quickly and courteously. Good recommendations for winery and olive oil tours. Stayed with my wife... more
