We stayed over Christmas. When we arrived the doors were locked with a note to check in at Comfort Inn. The staff at Comfort Inn explained the Brannon is a sister property and invited us to the Comfort Inn breakfast, sauna, pool and steam room. During our 3 days no staff appeared at Brannon and the doors remained locked. It... More

This not a bed and breakfast, this at best is a bad motel. There was no one at the facility when we arrived. We had to go up the street to the Comfort Inn to get our key. The owner was no where to be found (although I understand he owns both the Comfort Inn and the Brannon House). The... More

At first glance it was sweet but for almost $200. per weekday it was very loud and a bit dirty. The included continental breakfast didn't empress us either. Location was convenient for walking to town but off a busy road you can hear road traffic all night. The best part of the inn was a very friendly tabby cat that... More

I give this place a 3 because it wasn't horrible and it wasn't wonderful either. The best things about it were the cat that came and greeted us, the young man who worked both Saturday and Sunday morning (name started with an A), good wifi signal, and that it's walking distance to downtown. For this price, it was expensive to... More

This was probably one of the worst places I've ever stayed. Little to no staff on hand. We also had the room with the glaring light outside our window, making a decent nights sleep nearly impossible. Very skimpy on the towels and bar soap. Our bed was somewhere between fine and uncomfortable, so it wasn't completely horrible. Breakfast was just... More

To start with two weeks before our trip I receive an email canceling our reservations. Although we had prepaid through a B&B website 6 months prior. Once that was cleared up we were told half way through our stay we needed to move our room. When we were given a key to that room it was already occupied. They told... More

Arrived at 3:15 pm, no one there to greet us (website stated someone would be there between 3 and 4) Had to go to the Comfort Inn to check in and receive key. Was told the person who greets called in sick last minute. Upon entering our room, 3 dirty rugs, dirty ceiling fan & light globes, rusty fridge top.... More

Find another place to stay. Rugs full of dog urine, eyes burned all night. Moved to different room and the lights outside keep the bedroom lit up like day time. Would not stay there again. Location is good and in walking distance to the town and market. nothing wrong with the location. If you want to watch the news as... More

Pros - close to town, fairly quiet, clean, quaint Cons - needs some updating - lacking charm of B&B - Staff not on premise all of the time We used to stay here before the place was sold. It was awesome with a Happy Hour of great local wine and cheese and a wonderful homemade breakfast. It was fun to... More

Prior to the visit, Doug went out of his way to provide as much info as possible in order to make sure we had everything needed. When we arrived, a surprise tub of sparkling wine was awaiting us in our charming Victorian style room. Perfect way to kick off the evening. Doug was very hospitable and overviewed all of the...
