Like many of the other reviewers, I can't say enough nice things about the Brannan Cottage Inn. This was our first visit to the Napa Valley and I can honestly say that I would not have wanted to stay anywhere else. We loved the town of Calistoga and BCI is within a short walk to the center of town where... more

We just arrived from a two night stay at the Brannan Cottage Inn. It is a lovely place to stay, rooms are clean, breakfast was delicious and our hosts, Doug and Judy, were very gracious. They are very knowledgeble about the small wineries around Calistoga and we had THE BEST first-time experience in wine country anyone could ever have. All... more

We loved Napa, but Doug and Judy really helped make our trip special. The rooms are cozy and comfortable, but it is the whole atmosphere of the B&B that is makes this a place worth staying. There is a lovely porch and shaded garden where you have breakfast and can just sit and relax. There is always fresh fruit and... more

Let me begin by saying I never met Doug and Judy of Brannan Cottage Inn until late in the evening of our arrival for a two-night stay. I will also say my wife and I have enjoyed many such stays in B & Bs over the years. That said, I want to say that our stay with Judy and Doug... more

Unfortunately, I had to cancel my reservations due to a sudden family emergency. When I called to cancel, I was told that I would be charged (even though I was canceling one month ahead). The woman then had the nerve to ask me what the family emergency was. I told her a death in the family and all she could... more

We spent a long weekend at the inn celebrating our friend's recent retirement. Doug and Judy were fabulous and welcomed our family with open arms. They are very knowledgeable and educated us about the local area's history, restaurants and wineries, etc.. We even played golf at the nearby municipal course (within walking distance of the inn). On Friday night, a... more

My husband, daughter (4 yrs old) and I stayed at Brannan Cottage for a long weekend at the end of September. I called about 4 months in advance, as I know the B&Bs fill up quickly this time of year. My first impression was a very good one. I spoke with Judy and asked for an early check-in. I also... more

Two of us spent a night at the Brannan Cottage, but were less than impressed. Doug's welcome was perfunctory at best. Judy ignored us completely. There apparently was no wine/cheese offering the day we were there, as mentioned by others. The accommodation was a bit shabby, but clean. French toast at breakfast nothing special, but the fruits offered were awesome... more

This B&B is located 2 blocks from all the restaurants and downtown Calistoga (an easy walk). All the people running the B&B are extremely nice and go out of their way to get to know you and make sure you are comfortable. The rooms us and our friends stayed in were extremely clean, with nice bathrooms (great hot shower/good pressure),... more

Everything I expected! We booked the entire property for six couples and was definitely the right decision! We were looking for cozy, down home and laid back and this was it. Doug and Judy were wonderful. The food each morning was plentiful and very good as were the wines and cheeses served by the Cook's each evening. Our four day... more
