Overall this bed and breakfast exceeded our expectations both in its location and the room itself. We stayed for 3 nights in suite 2 on the front of the building, it was a good sized room, with a shared balcony looking over the street. The room was very well appointed with a comfy queen sized bed, a lovely bathroom and... More

You never see anyone that works at the hotel. You breakfest shows up in a basket left at the front door. So it has the feel of your own apartment versus a hotel. But it is a cute place located in the heart of wine country. You will need a rental car to visit wineries. But there are many little... More

My traveling companion and I spent a lovely evening at the hotel and enjoyed the wonderful bottle of Rutherford Grove's wine. It is quiet, private and quaint. The bathroom update is really nice! We also took advantage of the complimentary wine tasting at the family's winery. The only negative is the long steep stairway to the top. After catching our... More

We stayed here recently for a weekend, everything went great! The facility is very nice and seemed fairly recently renovated, It is small, and right in the heart of the village, so you walk everywhere, but can be a bit noisy with traffic. The greater location is ideal for the wine country, some of the best tourist wineries to visit... More

We stayed four nights at D'Amici. This hotel feels more like your own apartment. You let yourself in and out without ever seeing anyone. The location is perfect, plenty of parking spaces all the time, nearby restaurants and supermarket. The room was pretty large and impeccably clean. The bedding was excellent. The towels were nice and soft. There were a... More

Yes, there is narrow set of stairs to climb up but the rooms are impeccably clean & cute! We stayed in room #3 which looks out the side to the OSH and has a partial view of the street. The bed was comfy with soft linens & various pillows to choose from. We didn't get noise other than the occasional... More

If stairs are a problem for you this is not the place to stay. Aside from a bit of confusion about access this was the perfect place for our Calistoga visit. Walking distance to many restaurants, spas and wine tasting rooms. We would definitely recommend this hotel to our friends.

I do not know where the people who wrote reviews that said this place was WONDERFUL stayed but the place we stayed at was dreary, noisy, shabby. Like a bad european hotel. The stairs were steep and long (two stories?) with no bell boy to help .Luckily the owner or manager happened to be there when we checked and he... More

Calistoga and this hotel was one of the best stops during our trip to California. A hidden treasure, extremely clean and comfortable. It seems like the hotel has received improvments, with careful items of decoration, comfortable mattress and good internet access from the room. The system that allows the entrance without any front door staff makes you feel like being... More

We just stayed at the Hotel d'Amici this past weekend for 2 nights. We couldn't have asked for a better place! Our room was beautiful, perfectly clean, extremely spacious with a lovely balcony (Suite 3). Each morning there was a delicious breakfast waiting for us outside our door from a local bakery. The check in/check out process couldn't have been... More
