We are currently writing from a small, sweaty and noisy room in the Calistoga Inn. With 95F+ temperatures outside, airconditioning seems to be a basic necessity at the moment. Beds are tiny and facilities are shared. Also, no tv or any other kind of 20th century technology. Definitely not worth the 100 $. more

If you are even considering staying at the Calistoga Inn I would advise you to give it some serious thought before committing. It is tempting when you compare their rates with all other hotels and B&B's in the area, HOWEVER...The website states, "The Inn offers 18, turn-of-the- century, comfortable rooms at reasonable rates..." What you should read is no AC,... more

The Calistioga Inn is exactly as it describes itself, clean, fairly basic but keenly priced accommodation in the generally expensive Napa Valley. The room was quite small but adequate; certainly not luxurious and bath/ Wc facilities are shared. These are fine and caused us no problems. Its a friendly place, with a brewhouse and bar and a good restaurant on... more

This is not a good place to stay. The rooms are located above the very lively pub and restaurant, so noise (until midnight) is a massive problem. The rooms are very basic, with little to no storage or security. The bathrooms are shared with all guests. It was like being in some sort of detention facility rather than a hotel.... more

Good location, Nice seating area at side to have a drink from bar, good beer brewed on premises, good quality items for breakfast. Plenty of choise to eat out in locality. Now the not so good. Rooms dated could do with a makeover, sink in room small and old style. This could be great with repainting and new sinks. more

We found Calistoga a charming small town and were excited to stay at the Calistoga Inn & Brewery! While this place poses as a hotel, it's really like a dorm room. Bed, sink, towels, and a fan is all you get, plus a marginal breakfast in the morning. Showers and bathrooms are down the hall, but completely private. It was... more

We recently stayed at the Calistoga Inn for one night. The hotel rooms seem like almost an afterthought to the rest of the property with the restaurant, music and outdoor dining. There are virtually no amenities in the rooms besides a bed, fan (no AC), and a sink. The rooms could really use some nice decorations – we were in... more

My sister and I stayed one night at the Calistoga Inn. It was the perfect place to crash after a day of wine tasting. The bed was INCREDIBLY comfortable and I absolutely loved the pillows. Usually I hate hotel pillows. They're either too flat or too fluffy and either way my neck aches in the morning. These were squishy and... more

Stayed last June with my wife. We had a good, clean and comfortable room if not on the small side. Shared toilet and showering facilities. Located above a busy (and noisy) pub but that's part of the fun. The locals are friendly and being from the UK we had no problems mixing. The local beer is also excellent and well... more

I stay in Calistoga, CA twice a year since 1984. Calistoga inn Restaurant and Brewery we always enjoyed. Our last trip as usual we made a reservation for Calistoga Inn Restaurant. Prices were up but quality of food was way down. First time in my long history with this restaurant, I couldn't eat my grill salmon. It was over cooked... more
