My husband and I are from New York. We heard about la chaumiere from neighbors who had stayed there in May. We were going on our honeymoon and wanted a special place to spend 5 days in the Wine Country.
The Inn is small, with only 3 rooms, and classy. The entire Inn is immaculate and the gardens are spectacular.
What we also enjoyed was their location, which is just under a block from downtown Calistoga.
We could hardly wait to wake up in the morning and see what fantastic breakfast was waiting for us.
The Innkeeper is very knowledgeable about all there is to know about restaurants, wineries and basically anything you ask about the area.
We will be back and definitely be passing the word about our find.
