I paid $420 for my room, bath and a 1hr massage. I did not receive the 6 step treatment that was promised along with the $420 payment for the package i desired. From my knowledge i was suppose to receive a room with a jacuzzi, a 6 part spa treatment in stead of receiving that i received a 1hr massage,... more

My wife and I spent 2 nights at Golden Haven in mid June and loved our time there. It is very quiet, located a short walk from downtown Calistoga, where there are great restaurants, wine bars and pubs serving micro brews. The rooms were clean and comfortable and staff were friendly and helpful. There is a swimming pool and 2... more

This was my third visit to Golden Haven for an overnight stay and mudbath. The consistent quality of service combined with reasonable prices (and great mid-meek specials!) combine for a great experience. That is why I will recommend them to anyone and continue to stay there. more

I tried out the mud bath because it was the "thing to do" in Calistoga... I couldn't get away faster. They don't change the mud between treatments. I find that disgusting. It wasn't relaxing because I saw the couple that left the mud bath before we entered, and all I could think about was .. I wonder what they did... more

Golden Haven Hot Springs was a gem of a find. The front desk service accommdated our needs with fair prices and had available massage times. Our room was clean and comfortable, extra pillows and towells - great! I was thinking Golden Haven was closer to downtown, for strolling to, however it ended up being an asset instead. We loved the... more

My daughter from NY and I decided on the spur of the moment to take a quick trip to Calistoga. We found Golden Haven Hot Springs on the internet and were able to book a wonderful spa package for the next day. All of the staff were courteous and helpful. Smiles were not in short supply. I opted for the... more

My daughter and I stayed here for four days. We tried the mud bath treatment and it was quite the experience. My daughter enjoyed her facial, etc. The resort is relaxed and low key. The smell of the honeysuckle was beautiful. We did the internet special and got great rates. We would have stayed longer but they were booked up... more

I have been coming to Golden Haven Spa for several years and always felt Golden Haven to be a relaxing and reasonable place to spend a couple nights. Instead of being a nudist resort like Harbin Hotsprings, this little Haven is for those of us who like total privacy while soaking in mineral water. There is a bathtub in the... more

We actually stayed across the street at Indian Springs, but I found that Golden Haven is the only place in Calistoga that actually has a couples mud bath package, so we opted to head over there to experience it. The staff was competent and friendly, and the mud bath was amazing! Who knew? It is the closest to "weightless" that... more
