I don't recommend people stay here. Our experience: We reserved a "suite" for three days in July based on reviews on this website. The suites are more expensive than non-suite rooms. But there didn't seem to be anything particularly special about them. The rooms seemed poorly constructed. The door, for example, which I've pictured below, didn't fit the door frame. So, we could see light through the gap during the day and bugs crawling through the same at night. The amenities were tolerable at best. Two queen beds, which were fine, dirty floor, dirty shower, slowly draining bathroom sink, and two of the smallest and I imagine cheapest bars of motel soap I have ever seen. The room was not turned over after our first full day in the area. So, we returned from a full day at McArthur-Burney Falls to a room with a full garbage, still-dirty floor, no clean towels, and two unmade beds. Our room smelled like skunk both nights, which I looked into for a moment only to find some of the occupants from one of the adjacent rooms smoking what I believe to be weed outside their door. In total: the sum of our experience at Shasta Pines Motel was so poor that we chose to cut our vacation short by a day, pack up, and drive home. I don't recommend people stay here. We tried it for two nights and chose not to stay for a third.

Room was clean and had everything you could possibly need for your stay. Microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker, hair dryer. TV. Wi-Fi. It was a really comfortable bed. And everything was clean and well taken care of. The man at the front desk was very informative and helpful and friendly. We came to see Burney Falls. This was such a convenient location as the falls were less than 15 min away. I would definitely stay here again. :)

It’s an older motel. Taken care of beautifully. Super clean and has just what I need. There is a bbq area and picnic area. Close to restaurants by walking. I’ll go back. Price is a bit lower than most in town but looks about the same. Great place to visit if you visit Burney falls and aren’t interested in camping.

We drove 5 hours to get here. The Manager - Mr. Baker was very welcoming and friendly. He walked us to our room and made sure the heater was working saying "good it's warm in your room." For a small town, we didn't expect much, but when we got inside our room it was clean and smelled good. Their bathroom also has a heater!! Thank you, Mr. Baker! We appreciate you a lot :-)
