We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights having stayed in the Embassy Suites in Anaheim a few days earlier. This hotel was quite different from that one and we were quite disappointed. There was quite a long line-up for check-in although there was a machine in the lobby that allowed automated check-in - despite numerous attempts, the machine did... more

This place seemed a bit of a mix between great and less than great. Views of the water across the shallow bay are excellent. The breakfast was a major homerun- simple but well prepared free breakfast in the atrium area each morning. I highly recommend the breakfast burrito- the lady that makes them is a magician! On the not-so-good areas,... more

This review is written by a business traveler who typically frequents Marriott and Hilton-chain hotels around the world (primarily in the US). This review is based on a 1-night stay in May 2009. Pros: - Top (8th and 9th floors) are reserved for Hilton HHonors members). - Love the square layout of the hotel with the open (but fully-covered) atrium... more

I had been dreaming about staying in this hotel by the SF Bay for so many years. Finally I decided to book it for a weekend getaway, and it was simply great. We had a suite facing the SF Bay with spectacular views! I couldn't ask for more, especially on a clear day. The lobby and ground floor of the... more

This review is long overdue. We stayed at the Embassy Suites Burlingame in August 2008. We used the hotel as our base to visit downtown San Francisco, Monterey, and Yosemite. The location was convenient. Easy access to the highway and far enough away from the chaos of downtown San Francisco. Hotel shuttle to/from the airport was convenient (although it is... more

I had gotten lost driving from the airport and discovered the neighborhood of Coyote Point earlier in the day which I never knew existed. It appears the nearest place for these nice people to party would be the Burlingame Embassy Suites. I have no trouble with this as I was in San Francisco in the first place for a convention.... more

Oh where to begin....how about check-in and parking. First when we checked in, it took 45 minutes, never in my life have I had to wait in a line of 20 people for 45 minutes to check into a hotel. I have stayed in hotels in third world countries and never had to wait this long for check in at... more

Thank you for your candid feedback. I regret that you visited us when we were not at our best, and my apologies that we were not prepared for the high level of business that we had during your stay. Obviously we are an extremely popular hotel for families on the weekends, but I am disconcerted to hear that anyone with...

We stayed here the last weekend in February. The good: The view of the bay and airport is fantastic. The breakfast is very good, with lots of choice. Check in was friendly & efficient. Room was fine. The bad: You pay $15 a night for the privilege of parking yourself in a lot that is wide open to fisherman, apparent... more

Stayed at the Embassy Suites for one night, March 6th to the 7th - 2009. The inner area and Rings Restaurant were cold. In the room, the garbage under the sink was full from the last occupants, towels had holes in them, the slider door facing the bay was filthy and tissue was sticking out from some round object on... more

Thank you for visiting us earlier this month, and thank you for taking the time to tell us how we are doing. Room condition and cleanliness are absolutely non-negotiable elements of a great stay, and I am sorry that we dropped the ball in both areas. We recently reinvented our housekeeping processes on March 4th, and I regret that you...

I have stayed at this Embassy suite location over probably 20 times in the last 3 years & have liked it enough to return time and again. I am their diamond member. Now I am concerned. I found a bed bug last night in my room that woke me up at 4 am. I called the front desk and they... more

This is an extremely sensitive topic. Bed bugs have become an increased industry-wide problem over the last few years. They are not, however, the result of a poorly managed or unclean hotel. Unfortunately, they are brought in by other guests. I assure you that there has been no history of this issue, and we have a Rapid Response Team that...
