We booked here as it was convenient for a wedding we were attending in Santa Ynez. Thought it would be a kick since we'd seen the movie "Sideways" which used the hotel as a location. Important "right off the bat" notes: 1. There are NO smoking rooms here, despite what the Days Inn website states. You can smoke outside on the balcony however. 2. I stayed here for one night as I was driving from San Francisco to Los Angeles and this was a handy place to stop between the two. This hotel is close to anything you would want to do in Buellton. It's also very close to Solvang so you can stay here and drive there and not have to pay top dollar for a room in Solvang. Our room was quite large, it even had a full kitchen. It was odd though that the room was so big... more

We stayed one night. On checking in the lady at the desk was pleasant and helpful. Unfortunately, that was the last time we saw her and the last time we received helpful or pleasant service.
