Stopped while traveling to try their food, 2 people had the split pea soup and said it was ok, nothing special, daughter ordered the chicken pot pie, which was huge, wasn't bad, but did not care for the gravy. I ordered the Rueben and it was tasty. Expected the soup to be better. Service was good.

my husband and i stayed here one night on a coastal road trip en route to santa barbara. it was a good alternative to staying in santa barbara itself, which is pricey. the room was fine by motel standards. the bed was comfortable and the king size was appreciated. each room has a balcony or patio facing the inner courtyard... We spent one night here while visiting the Solvang area in July. Though not cheap, the price was less than accommodations in Solvang which is just 3 miles away. The motel was clean and comfortable, an older but upgraded facility of two stories and a nice pool courtyard area. The room was decent size, more than basic, but not lavish.... More

They let us have the room we requested. We stayed upstairs in a quiet room with a view of the pool. The stairs up to the room are Located next to the parking. The room was nice and clean. We did hear the air conditioning. The staff was very nice and very helpful. The restaurant is very good. The pool... More

I stayed at Pea Soup Anderson's for three days while attending a conference in the area. While I was initially a little nervous about the location (my ground floor room faced a gas station), I didn't have any issues with safety at all. I always traveled with friends from the conference after dark anyway, just in case. My score for... More

I didn't realize this restaurant chain had hotels as well, but based on ratings and cost, we figured this would be a good stop for dinner and sleep. We were pleasantly surprised by it all. The heated pool we sadly didn't have time to enjoy, the restaurant next door, the room with our car parked right outside, free wi-fi and... More

The rooms are clean and the location is perfect for visiting the area if you don't want to pay the higher prices in Solvang. It is located just off the 101 and only a 5-10 minute drive to Solvang. Our stay included a continental breakfast, which I was not very impressed with. They only had danishes available (and only 4... More

We stayed in the Buellton area for one night after visiting Santa Barbara and touring a couple local wineries. We chose the Pea Andersens based on reviews and price. It is definitely a motel, so adjust your expectations accordingly. However, it was a good value for the price compared to others in the area. The front desk attendants were pleasant... More

I've been avoiding reviewing this place because it's my best keep secret. To some its not fancy but who cares its worth it. Nice, quite, clean. Nice Jacuzzi, pool. Good pastry's for breakfast. Plus they have Pea Andersen's Resturant right next door who can top that. Off season they have good deals during the week.
