ok, you're only considering the Tahoe Inn for one of two reasons. It's either the cheapest place you could find in town, or it's the only place with any vacancy. I can assure you that there is a reason for it to fall into those two categories. Long story short: unless you absolutely need the cheapest room in the area,... More

This place is so bad that it is laughable! We have ants, holes in the bathroom walls where towel racks once hung, loose electrical outlets, cracked coffee carafe (with ants), and the worst beds and pillows on the planet. Can't watch tv with the window open, as the road noise is so loud we can't hear it. Hands down, this... More

First room did not have blinds and it was on the first floor next to the parking lot every one looked into my room from the parking lot and the other rooms when I was sitting on the bed. Then they moved me Second room had bed bugs. No A/C 100 degree day, people smoking drugs in the indoor hallway.... More

Holy Mother of God! Our car broke down on State Route 267 near Kings Beach in the Lake Tahoe area. After 3.5 hours at the side of the road waiting for a tow truck to arrive, we ended up at the Tahoe Inn since it was inexpensive and could accommodate parking for the boat we had been towing. It was... More

I just stayed at the Tahoe Inn last night. Wanted to write this while everything is fresh in my mind! I went cheap because it was just one night and just to sleep. This place is super old and in desperate need of some upgrades. The pool is closed, the doors still have key locks, the room was clean, but... More

I hate to give this hotel 2 stars because they were so friendly and easy, they allow dogs and the price is great. If you're looking for a deal, this is it, but it comes with some drawbacks (hence the 2 stars) First we were put into a room in the main building (near the lobby). The heater was broken... More

the motel is very cost efficient for skiing on the north shore. The rooms are old and there are stains, but you can tell it has been cleaned. If you are looking for a cost-efficient place to stay on the north shore and you don't need any glamour then this is a good place. It is a no frills motel,... More

This is an inn, yes, but even if this is the lowest-priced inn along that strip... I will not recommend it.. The sad thing is, it's not the lowest- priced place to stay. They're just not booked at the time we were looking for a place to stay, and now we know why. We didn't do our research before booking... More

During our 1 month road trip throughout most of California we stopped for 2 days and 1 night at the Lake Tahoe -- we did not really plan where we would spend the night so we went freestyle!! We found this hotel in Brockway (elevation about 2000m, population less then 500) on one side its 500m from the Nevada state... More
