We were in town for a performance nearby. We checked in shortly after 3:30 PM, our room was ready prior to the 4 PM check-in. The room was rather small, but was very clean, it was right next to the highway, which concerned us. But upon closing the door the highway noise was not noticeable at all! The bathroom was... More

The staff was extremely helpful and booked us in a large room upstairs for the family of 4. The décor is older, but it seemed to be squeaky clean, which is important to me. The continental breakfast was ample with muffins, boiled eggs, coffee, etc.

We had trouble finding a last minute accommodation for the 4th of July holiday. We were fortunate to find a cancellation at the Ruby Inn in Bridgeport CA. We stayed 2 days at the Hotel. The hotel is an road hotel common in Western States. Basic accomodation were clean and functional. Wifi was avaliable and there was a morning Continental... More

We had previously stayed at this property several years ago when it was flying the flag of a national chain. They have since gone independent, and we think it was a plus. Usually when we stay at a non branded hotel, it has been a disappointment. Not this time. While the room was small, it was clean and was well... More

We weren't meant to be staying in Bridgeport, but due to a snow storm had to hole up for the night and were recommended Ruby Inn, by the general store. We were greeted by a friendly face at the front desk and the chap helped us sort a room quickly so we could get in out of the bad weather.... More

Extremely nice young man welcomed us and He gave us nice price and few good tips what to do in Bridgeport. Rooms were clean and well equipped. Thumps up for the bearded receptionist. Welcome to Finland.

We were on a road trip in January and needed a motel that allows dogs. Bridgeport really closes down during the winter, and the motel we've used there in the past was closed for the month. Ruby Inn was open, and let us bring our two German Shepherds with no pet fee! The rooms are small. We had a double... More

Our first visit ever to Bridgeport after visiting Bodie Historical State Park was charming. Bridgeport is the quintessential small east Sierras town which, unknown to us pretty much closes for the winter season in early November. The Ruby Inn was the only motel in town, and lucky for us, it is a very nice place to spend the night. The... More

As a Trip Advisor regular, there have been a few (thankfully, very few) places I’ve stayed at based on TA reviews, that were so bad that I wondered if the reviews were of the same place I stayed at. In looking at the negative reviews of the Ruby Inn, I decided to see why so many people speak so poorly... More

Room was very small. Very little room for two people to move around. The TV was by the door because there was no room for it anywhere else. You couldn't comfortably watch it from the bed. And we paid $136.08 for this in September!! PS the bed and so called pillows were not very comfortable either.
