Stayed here on way from Yosemite to Reno. It is. Good place. Restaurant is good value and it is run by very pleasant people. Rooms are basic but clean and airy. I have stayed in a lot worse places for a lot more money particularly the tent cabins in Yosemite.

My friend and I stayed in the motel section of the Inn because they don't have beds bigger than a double size in the main building. The room was clean but lacked amenities we've all grown used to. I understand the place is vintage but no outlet in the bathroom and no outlets remotely close to a mirror make it... More

Thanks for the review. Yes, we have old buildings. Although we do make improvements every year, we will not become a modern motel. We believe that our restaurant is very affordable and the food very good. We have written reviews from hundreds of guests each year with 99% very good. Average price per meal this year not including alcohol is... More

Stopped here during a cross country trek. One of the few places in town open at 6pm on a friday night in November. Stayed in the motel portion. Room was average. Best thing was the old walk-in shower with enough water pressure to take paint off.

Thanks for the review. November starts the winter season and most of the town businesses reduce their hours, or partially close, or shut-down completely for the winter. Hope you can return someday during our spring/summer/fall seasons. Bob Peters, owner. More

I just want to say, I was there for 7 days and enjoyed every minute of my stay. The whole experience was wonderful. All of the staff from House keeping, chief, server's and bar tenders, were all outstanding. I wish i didn't have to leave. Thank you Bridgeport Inn for making our stay so wonderful. Hope to see you all... More

The really great thing about owning the Bridgeport Inn is having the opportunity to get to know repeat customers. Many of our guests came to Bridgeport as children with their parents or grandparents, and now bring their children. Thanks for the review Anna Z. Bob Peters, Owner. More

We had noted this place on a previous drive through this town. The old hotel is picturesque; the lobby represents well the historic nature of the place. We stayed in one of the motel-like rooms in the back building. The internet did not work in our room; we had to go to the office---and it was closed one day during... More

Thanks for your review. We do update parts of our motel building each year during the winter when the Inn is closed. This year it will be the motel furniture. Our restaurant is always closed on Wednesdays and our website does cover that. Unfortunately, some of the internet marketers that provide reservations for us do not always make it clear... More

The Bridgeport Inn is a place that you'll want to stay at once, just for the atmosphere. It is old, but well-maintained. The rooms are small, but bright. The facilities are adequate. The downstairs bar looks like a John Wayne movie set. The stairs leading to the rooms on the second floor are steep and narrow - not recommended for... More

We stayed in the original hotel at the Bridgeport Inn 10-07-13. Staff was courteous and rooms were clean. Showers were tiny even for an average size man. Forget it if you're a fatty! $3.95 dining coupons for the downstairs restaurant didn't go very far as a glass of orange juice was about all it would cover. Food must have been... More

Thanks for the review. The dining coupon does get you a hot breakfast and free coffee. And, if can't stay for breakfast you can use the coupon as credit toward any menu item at lunch or dinner. Menu prices are based on our quality. No one else charges less for the same quality. Our rooms in the historic hotel were... More

Ended up leaving the establishment. The guy at front desk scared me teriibly! Was only allowed to use one of the beds in the room, and he was insistant on which side of the room we could sleep on. He reminded me of Norman Bates!!! Very outdated and smelly. I would run from this Inn.

It's difficult to comment on the complaints of this guest. The only "guy" at the front desk is an owner. The rest of our front desk staff are women. I can assure all travelers that we don't restrict our guests to any specific bed. I did email this guest to obtain more information because I wasn't sure she actually stayed... More

We stayed in the Bridgeport on our way from Las Vegas to San Francisco. The price was very reasonable and the rooms perfectly clean. We stayed at the motor inn portion of the inn, not the cute old building, because we were traveling with a dog. The motor inn is very cute and retro looking.
