We were three couple travelling from Las Vegas to San Fran and we had chosen Bridgeport as our overnight stop. Big Meadow Loge was a pleasant surprise, it was a lot smaller then we had expected but although basic the rooms had everything you needed and I had the best nights sleep I’d had in days. Just returned from 4 days at Big Meadow lodge / Fish Camp. Ownership recently back in family hands. Really neat cabins and AMAZING views. VERY minimal accommodations but workable for Price. Owners are working to make upgrades, FIRST thing has to be A/C!! Rarely is Bridgeport hot, but, when it is, these cabins need lots of help cooling off. Clean... More

This place is cozy and private with great mountain veiws not the usual hotel vibe or feel. If you like sitting around a campfire but dont like camping this is the place for you!
