After a very long ride from Sequoia towards Mono Lake I found the Redwood Motel. Lucky for us it was probably the most dog positive place I have every visited. The owners are dog lovers as well and don't charge extra for a pooch travel companion. I def felt it was divine intervention we found this place. Stayed 2 nights.... More

We stayed here on our first leg of an off road excursion out to the Bodie Hills. The room was clean and quiet. Staff at the desk are very friendly. Great price as well. I would stay here again. Very easy to get to being right off 395. Also very good restaurants all within a very short walking distance form... More

Dog friendly is first vote. Clean, warm and cozy. Nothing magnificant, but customer service was great. Had snacks and doggie pooh bags, plus snacks for us for breakfast. May not be 5star. But it served it's purpose. We were able to visit the Travertine hot springs, and take a little walk with the dogs.

We stayed at the Redwood Motel for one long miserable night. The room's heater wouldn't come on, though the pilot light was light and the thermostat was set properly. The room was 60 degrees f in the morning, way too cold for the one blanket provided. The wind blew hard all night and there was an erratic banging on the... More

We stayed one night at redwood Motel while travelling from lake Tahoe to Yosemite. The rooms are clean with a rather small bathroom and offer a fridge, coffee maker and microwave. WiFi works pretty well and some restaurants are within walking distance. Not exactly cheap for a standard hotel though and as usual the walls are very thin so you... More

We stayed at the Redwood Motel for 3 nights while we vacationed in the area. We chose the Redwood because of the location and price. The only staff we met was a blonde woman who was very pleasant. The room was clean, had a flat screen TV, a refrigerator, and in room coffee(!), but it was lacking in almost every... More

The rooms in the Redwood Motel in Bridgeport are very clean, have flatscreen tv, microwave, coffeemaker, fridge, free wifi. Beds are very comfortable. Personal is friendly. The motel has a peaceful and friendly atmosphere. We (family with 2 teenage kids) can absolutely recommend this motel.

We are a family of four with 2 small boys. We came from Yosemite to see Bodie, and made reservations in this town because we knew we would be too tired late in the day to drive the mountain passes. Honestly, we had no idea what to expect. This is a small town in the Sierras and none of the... More

The motel is what you see is what you get. The staff was very friendly an accommodating. My son and I rode in on our motorcycles and the staff offered us rags to clean them with. The room is small but good enought for an overnight stay. The wifi is fair. Electric outlets need to be changed out as plugs... More

Thank you for the positive review. Motorcyclists are fond of the ability to park their bike directly in front of the ground-floor room and often use the rags provided to wipe down their windshields and bikes. Please stay with us again when you're in our area. More

We traveled through Bridgeport for a day and stayed here. Upon check owner was friendly and helpful about the area. The rooms were very clean. This is an older motel but kept up. They allow you to fill your ice chest for free. Very quiet place. A good place to stay when visiting Bodie or just for a short get... More

We loved hearing about your enjoyable stay. Yes, Bridgeport being so close to Bodie State Historical Park is a plus. Generally, our guests are quite pleased with our quiet motel and the unlimited ice. Please come again if you're in our area. More
