The Borrego Valley Inn is one of my favorite places to visit. Surrounded by the Anza Borrego desert, it offers total relaxation in a stunning setting. It's private, romantic, and so wonderful I almost don't want to share it.

This is a unique small property, quite well designed for comfort and convenience. There are a small number of rooms, maybe 14 or so, and they are entirely enjoyable without being too fussy. Our room had a private back deck, a soaking tub in the bathroom, and a small kitchenette with microwave and fridge. They serve a healthy, fresh breakfast... More

This was our second visit to the Borego Valley Inn, and it was as enjoyable as the first. The staff was very welcoming, helpful and professional. Afternoon cookies are exceptional and included breakfast well above the usual. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and well suited to the local environment with what appear to be adobe walls and lots of interesting... More

What a wonderful Inn, quiet and in a lovely location for hiking, or 4 wheeling or just relaxing. the staff is wonderful and the breakfasts were amazing. Our room was perfectly detailed with lots of fresh towels and cozy robes and a nice size frig for storing our wine, etc.

The Borrego Valley Inn is a fantastic boutique resort in the middle of the California desert. The decor is a very comfortable Santa Fe meets West Texas. The landscape is the desert which opens onto the property. There is a no smoking policy and a no loud music policy which made for an extremely quiet and peaceful stay. The Borrego... More

You can't imagine how much we appreciate your comments and observations. As you've discovered, our guests are a "self-selecting" group who are seeking that increasingly elusive quality -- peace and quiet, We're glad you found that and more (the Milky Way, too!) with us. Thanks so much for visiting and for taking the time for your review. We hope to... More

The Borrego Valley Inn has a lovely ambience. The room we stayed in was well designed (lots of room for cases, which always otherwise spoil a lovely space), spacious with excellent facilities but designed in keeping with the location. The private courtyards and the seating space at the front of each room give you places to sit and relax at... More

The Borrego Valley Inn is near Christmas Circle, which is the center of town, such as it is. It is a stylish, comfortable one-story inn with wonderful home-made items such as fresh-baked muffins on their breakfast buffet. The Anza-Borrego State Park Visitor Center is left from the entrance about a mile.

Thanks so much for your endorsement! You are so right -- the Inn is not the "low budget alternative" for Borrego Springs, and that's because we insist on delivering quality to our guests. As you might imagine, doing business out here in the middle of nowhere, far from resources most take for granted, is an expensive proposition. Our breakfast offerings... More

For a quiet relaxing retreat we made our way to Borrego Springs and the Borrego Valley Inn. The inn is an authentic rendering of Spanish adobe architecture and offers 14 rooms in two buildings along with a building for the main lobby. Each room has a main bedroom with gas fireplace, a kitchenette, lavatory, shower, and water closet. The lavatory... More
