you will love this Niue and super clean motel. It exceeded our expectations and previous reviews hit the nail on the head. We did not miss wifi, phone or TV. Nothing spectacular on the outside but don't let that scare you off. The beds are comfy, rooms are spotless and the host is so friendly and welcoming. Kenny will tell... More

Oh my gosh, this is a super clean, little no-frills motel, owned and managed by a wonderful hard-working couple. Clean modern foam style mattresses, slept great. Windows that you can open for fresh air. No TV, no phone, no hair-dryer, no frills. This is eco-wise lodging, totally 'off-the-grid' said proudly per Kenny (owner). Check out the solar panels on the... More

There are not sufficient superlatives to describe the experience at Borrego Springs Motel. Your hosts, Bonni and Kenny, could not be more friendly, accommodating or helpful. This is an 8-unit 1950's cinderblock motel that has been completely remodeled with eco-friendly in mind (solar panels; limited changing of bed linens; shampoo, conditioner and shower gel dispensers in the shower - first... Dave it was a pleasure having you stay with us! You may not have been aware of it, but we have 2 other queen bed rooms that are next door to our storage room, so they too only have one room they share a wall with. We also use these rooms for those that travel with their pets. Just let... More

We ventured on our Harley's to Borrego Springs, CA and stayed the night at this motel. While there are only 8 rooms all were filled the night we stayed. Rooms were clean, baths were clean. Owner was great offering lessons on the area, places to visit, firewood for the fire rings. Owner came back the next morning with fresh fruit... More

If you are on a budget, this is a great find. Very short walk to town. An old fashion motel, nothing fancy but very clean and the owners are lovely and helpful and live there. The setting is beautiful. We went for night walks and enjoyed sitting outside having our breakfast.

Borrego Springs is a pretty touristy little place. And can be pretty expensive. One room we asked about was over $300 a night!! So this was a total FIND. At $77 plus tax, we were really happy with this room. Small but so very clean and nicely done, plenty of hot water, comfy rugs and a beautiful view of the... More

We enjoyed having you stay at our small motel. We apologize for not having the heater going before you arrived; they are convection heaters & take a little longer to heat the room. We have taken your comment to heart & now keep the heaters on in all the rooms to ensure a cozy stay! Please come visit us again... More

This cute little 8 room motel in the heart of Borrego Springs is delightful. From the moment we arrived, greeted outside by the owners Ken and Bonni and their dog Duchess, to the moment we left the next day, we were in our own little desert heaven. We aren't big on high end hotels. This is the best of small... More

I booked for a week, for the UCMA 24hr cycle race in mid Nov 2014. The location was ideal, within easy walking distance of local amenities. The room was clean and comfortable. WiFi is available a stones throw away at Christmas Circle. No TV is great! I felt no need fot it anyway, as there was plenty to do, day... More

We stayed here on a Friday night on our way to San Diego. We had stayed three nights in Palm Springs and had intended staying a fourth, but as hotel prices increased significantly in PS for the weekends, we decided to move to Borrego Springs. This hotel was the cheapest with the best reviews in the area. The room is... More

My wife & I came to Borrego Springs to hike & explore explore the area. We spent a very comfortable night at the Borrego Springs Motel. The owners really take an interest in having the guests enjoy their stay & they couldn't have been nicer. The motel is very well maintained, spotlessly clean & with very comfortable beds. Well located... More
