Just arrived home from another wonder relaxing stay, (4 day), we have stayed many time but this was our first time in the poolside cascade, how wonderful to step out your front door to a beautiful pool and hot tub. A day of golfing and another day of hiking, then relaxing by the pool reading my book... The food is... More

Stayed here for a weekend getaway with my folks, and we loved it. The architecture is classic mid-century, though unfortunately the decor doesn't reflect that (my only complaint!). The location is absolutely gorgeous -- set on a bit of a rise with the valley spread out before you. I could sit on the patio or pool deck all day, just... More

I feel compelled to respond to the reviewer below that gave The Palms only one star (pfft, stick to sterile corporate chains, clearly) and wanted deadbolts in Anza because he felt "Unsafe". Is that a joke? My husband and I have been visiting this gem in the desert for years! Service has been very casual but friendly. Also, beetles tend... More

My husband and I loved this motel. It is kind of in the middle of nowhere, which we loved. It looks cool architecturally. Big windows and it's only a two storey. Get a room that looks over the pool. The other rooms look over the car park in the back. Huge rooms with microwaves, fridges, seating area, the hottub was... More

We came upon this unique little hotel on a previous visit to Borrego Springs and vowed to stay here next time we came out. We did and just loved it. It is a cool little place with just twelve rooms. Huge pool which was very inviting after a long morning of hiking! Simple yes, not a luxury resort by any... More

We only had one night in this place. It's small and friendly, only 12 rooms. We arrived late and caught the tail end of dinner - I had a tasty burger. Huge, comfortable bed, lovely room, retro style, well captured. When we woke in the morning the sunrise was outstanding and breakfast outside by the pool lovely. great deal that... More

The Palms is very unusual. We chose it after reading Trip Advisor write-ups. The hotel has a fabulous history, and the expansive lobby displays many photos, clippings and other artifacts from past times. There are many artistic decorating touches as well. There are only 12 rooms in the hotel, so there is not a desk person on duty at all... More

I have to counter the negative review I saw while trying to make my next reservation here. We stayed here in spring 2011 and 2012. They were full on our dates in spring 2013. We absolutely love leaving the curtains open in the morning and watching the sun rise from bed. We love the laid back atmosphere. Really nice large... More

Sun Rises are beautiful in Borrego Springs, too many people sleep through that magically time in the morning. Thank you for being a regular visitor and appreciating the positives in life. We look forward to your next visit. More

It has been awhile, but, Julian & I drove our dear friends, Louis & Elvira Weaver to The Palms at Indian Head, in 2004 to celebrate the Weaver's 28th wedding anniversary. The Palms management, upgraded our reservations to the darling "casitas" at pool-side (due to some unknown minor water problem in the main bldg.) The accommodations were extraordinary, small fireplace... More

This place is basically a scam. I've been to some pretty bad hotels, but this one takes the cake. I've stayed in better hotels in the middle of nowhere in Burma where there are power outages and limited running water, but at least there are people in the hotel. Here, nobody. My girlfriend and I stayed here for one night... More

We are not a scam; we take our business very seriously. Glad to hear that your breakfast was acceptable. Our property as you can tell from other reviews is not for everyone. Our regular guests look forward to getting the property to themselves and enjoying the peace and quiet that few places still offer. That quiet results in an abundance... More
