We came here for dinner whilst staying elsewhere. We loved the look of the hotel, and the staff are attentive. We really enjoyed our meal a lot, in what we understand is the Coyote Restaurant, but can't find it referred to that way anywhere! The initial waiter was inexperienced and had to go off to get answers to questions, and... More

We loved this place and will stay here again next time we're in Borrego Springs. The hotel is cool and quirky and totally in keeping with the vibe of this small desert town on the edge of Anza Borrego State Park. We stayed in room 5, which featured floor to ceiling windows looking out across the vast desert. The bed... More

This is a very quiet hotel tucked away in Borrego Springs. It is so quiet in fact, there is almost nobody there! If you need anything, we needed an iron, there's no way to get it until someone arrives at 10 am. Another problem is the fact that the price quoted online is not the price we were charged. We... The best place to stay in BS although for some reason it does not show up when one searches for hotels in Borrego Springs. The rooms are clean, the pool is fabulous and the restaurant serves a wide range of food.

This was our first trip to southern California from the east (Buffalo NY) to visit family in El Cajon in late April. My wife and I wanted to do a bit of exploring while there and planned an itinerary that included a drive around the fabled Salton Sea and up Mount Palomar to visit the observatory before settling into a... We only eat here for breakfast as a local recommended that we check the place out. The inn itself is a beautiful modernist building set looking at the beautiful mountains and desert of the Anza-Borrego state park. The pool also looked particularly inviting. Breakfast itself was very good and very good value. We had the peg leg breakfast and the... More

Just arrived home from another wonder relaxing stay, (4 day), we have stayed many time but this was our first time in the poolside cascade, how wonderful to step out your front door to a beautiful pool and hot tub. A day of golfing and another day of hiking, then relaxing by the pool reading my book... The food is... More

Stayed here for a weekend getaway with my folks, and we loved it. The architecture is classic mid-century, though unfortunately the decor doesn't reflect that (my only complaint!). The location is absolutely gorgeous -- set on a bit of a rise with the valley spread out before you. I could sit on the patio or pool deck all day, just... More

I feel compelled to respond to the reviewer below that gave The Palms only one star (pfft, stick to sterile corporate chains, clearly) and wanted deadbolts in Anza because he felt "Unsafe". Is that a joke? My husband and I have been visiting this gem in the desert for years! Service has been very casual but friendly. Also, beetles tend... More

My husband and I loved this motel. It is kind of in the middle of nowhere, which we loved. It looks cool architecturally. Big windows and it's only a two storey. Get a room that looks over the pool. The other rooms look over the car park in the back. Huge rooms with microwaves, fridges, seating area, the hottub was... More
