When my husband and I first arrived, I was slightly disappointed to find that the hotel was set up more like a motel. The lobby looks much bigger online than when I walked in for check-in. The staff is really friendly and the rooms are nice, but again, the online pictures made them look a bit nicer. You can hear... More

If you don’t read any of my review at least get this part. Make sure you book via one of the discount sites. They absolutely rob you blind as a walk in. Plenty of whispering of prices or writing them down on paper by the front desk to keep others from hearing how they stroked you. We paid at least... More

We love this place! We planned a get away with our two kids (ages 2 and 4) and couldn't have been more pleased with our experience. It's tough to find a place that feels very high end (so my husband and I feel like we're spoiling ourselves) but also goes out of its way to accommodate kids (opens the kitchen... More

We stayed here for a bachelors party and it was one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed at. We were quite impressed by all the included amenities (fireplace in the room with complimentary duraflame logs, huge bathroom/shower, comfortable bed, nice robes, spa and heated pool, etc) and we appreciated the warm welcome from the staff. Being an upscale resort,... More

We recently spent 6 nights at this hotel and were very comfortable. We had an ocean view room on the 2nd floor with a queen bed, fireplace, private balcony with an amazing view of the salt marsh and ocean. The room was large with a loveseat and sitting area, a desk, and kitchen sink. We used the honor bar fridge... More

My partner and I were very happy with our room at the Bodega Bay Lodge. It was clean, recently updated, and we had a wonderful view of the ocean - although, as other reviewers have mentioned, the beach is a short drive down the road. The staff was curteous, if not especially warm. We also enjoyed a very pleasant breakfast... More

My husband and I chose Bodega Bay CA for our 11th anniversary get away, and we chose the Bodega Bay Lodge based on the reveiws and pictures that were available on line. I am more then happy to say that we were not at all disappointed, we stayed in the "Bodega Bay Upper" room in late March. The room was... More

My college age daughter and I spent two nights at the Bodega Bay Lodge for a quick spring break getaway. This place was fabulous -- so quiet and restful! We enjoyed the wine and cheese reception both nights and also ended up eating at the Duck Club Restaurant both nights. We had only planned on eating there one night, but... More

My fiance is a firefighter. When he isn't at work, he is working on rebuilding our home. He has been working on it for a year, while we have been planning our wedding. He was way over due for a break, and so I made reservations for a nights stay at Bodega Bay Lodge. We had a wonderful couples in-room... More

My husband wanted to play golf here and I wanted to visit Sonoma wineries. It seemed like the perfect location to do both. However, the day my husband was suppose to play it rained so he never got a chance to. I was able to visit some vineyards but I will tell you its at least an hour drive (for... More
