My family and I stayed at the Bodega Bay Lodge for 2 nights. It was very nice. The room was large and clean. There was a fireplace and a large balcony. The view we had was exactly what is shown on their website. Just beautiful. The beach was close by and clean. We ate at the Duck Club restaurant for... More

Arrived after a long drive from Yosemite....The drive was wonderful by the way of Napa Sonoma.......some construction but very scenic.......many windmill farms in northern California......first impression was one of glee as you drive under a carport and see what looks like a luxury cabin style retreat receiving area......we had up-stairs rooms (no elevator I don't think) that looked over first... I stayed here for one night, and had a king Bodega bay room, which was huge and very nice, very comfy bed, fireplace, super clean bathroom, and a balcony with a beautiful view. Ate in the Duck restaurant, which was very good, and as we were waiting to be seated in the restaurant, there was a small deer outside the... More

This was our favorite place to stay. It was absolutely fantastic in every way. The room was huge, staff was extremely helpful and friendly. We had a couples massage that was very nice. Dinner at the Duck Club restaurant was very nice. The rooms all have fantastic ocean views. Definitely the place I would go back to.

We just got back from a one night stay, oh how I wish it were longer. Everything is just right. Nice people at the desk, wine reception, (they even had sparkling cider for children), great views, and a lovely property. We enjoyed the pool area. In the morning I put the kids in the stroller and walked the 10 min.... More

I visited the Lodge with a friend, it was a short trip to get away for a few days and it was wonderful. The staff is exceptionally helpful and polite. Anytime I needed something, all I had to do was ask and sometimes they anticipated my needs and assisted me ahead of time. Nearly every, if not all, rooms has... More

The service here was terrible. From front desk to room service, to housekeeping. The hotel is getting on in years. Furniture is 1980s (or maybe even '70s!). Mold on the ceiling above the shower. The restaurant staff was not knowledgeable about the menu. I was disappointed and will go elsewhere next time I want a special weekend away.

This hotel was a good value, and our room had a great view. The room itself was clean and spacious with a working fireplace. Depending on what you want to do in northern Cal it may be a bit out of the way. We booked seasonal deal through the hotel website and got a good rate considering we had an... More

Stayed here twice for one night each and found it deserves its star rating. It's lovely and well maintained - clearly a notch or two above the competition up and down this section of the coast. This is not a beach resort - the public beach (with toll booth for parking) is a long walk from the lodge. Even the... More
