We picked this place to stay because we'd never been to Bodega Bay, CA. it was nice, but not exactly what we thought we'd be getting. The lobby was so much nicer that the room. We did eat at their restaurant and it was good, both dinner and breakfast. The room had a dirty carpet, was very darkly decorated- dark... More

The Bodega Bay Lodge is a very positive experience. The property is beautiful and appears well maintained. All of the staff we encountered in the hotel were outstanding. The maitre 'd of the the restaurant could use a bit of training in basic people skills, but overall the visit was excellent.

We booked a two day stay at this hotel and it was very enjoyable. Our room had an excellent view of the harbor, was peaceful and quiet. The bed was very comfortable and the weather was perfect. We will definitely go again. The wine and cheese hour was very nice.

We stayed at the Lodge the first weekend in August. It was comfortable and clean and the staff was helpful, if not a little awkward at times. Our room was average size but our bed seemed to be a full, not a queen. Still it was comfortable and we got a good night's rest the night before a race up... More

My husband surprised me with an overnight stay here on my birthday. The room was large with nice decor and spacious bathroom. It had a beautiful view, fireplace, honor bar and seating area on the balcony. Wine & cheese were served in the lobby in the evening.Because of a mix up in dining reservation time, they voluntarily discounted the price... More

We stayed at the Bodega Bay Lodge for three nights in July 2014. It is a very nice property in the sleepy town of Bodega Bay. We enjoyed a room with a view, I think all the rooms have a view of the bay. The Duck Club resturant on property was very good. They have bicycles that you can borrow... More

We love this place. This time we got an upstairs room and it is nicer than downstairs. View is amazing. Food was excellent in the Duck Club but not so much in the bar next door. They seem to put training staff in there so I would avoid it. Bed was comfy and the decor was nice. No tub in... More

My husband and I traveled up the California Coast and decided to check into the Bodega Bay Lodge. We did not have a reservation and only needed a one night stay! Check in was great, the staff super friendly, the rooms (which I am particular about) were super clean and neat and very comfortable. We were hungry and were told... More

Plus: nice and large rooms with an excellent few and in-room fire place; amazing hot tub with fireplace Minus: Restaurant - expensive, pretty poor service and low quality; Drinks and food at "wine reception" was out after half the time and only space for a few guests on the pricy side

We stayed here for an evening in early August. The room was clean, check in/out was fine, all the staff we encountered were polite and pleasant. Our room was spacious but like a thousand other hotels we've stayed in over the years. Not bad but I felt we could have been in Florida or Ohio. There weren't any good reading... More
