I've stayed at the BBL twice both times for a retreat. The rooms are comfortable. The food and service are excellent. I tried both the banquet food and food from the restaurant. And the weather, well that is Bodega Bay. If you want to do nothing - that is possible - but there is a pretty good spa, some Bocce... More

let the cares drift away as you relax into Bodega Bay Lodge! The staff is amazing. The restaurant is accommodating to special needs. The amenities are scrumptious (enjoy a bike ride to Doran Beach followed by a massage in the spa) and the views are breath taking!

Really nice rooms. Well appointed and clean. It has the feel of an old conversion from a Best Western, the door rooms open to the car park, not to an internal hallway. Loved the pool despite the cold weather. The hot tub was the best we had during our entire seven day trip up and down the coast. Was a... More

Returned here due to previous positive experiences. Had a Bodega Bay Upper, this time...large, clean, quiet. Located in the building closest to the bay, so the sun-porch was not visible to anyone. Could have been naked to watch the sunset. Keurig-type coffee maker, volume-limited t.v., alarm, hair dryer, honor bar, good heater/a.c..Only two disabled parking slots for the building. Non-smoking,... More

Our Backroads cycling group pedalled in for one night. The pool and very large hottub overlooking the ocean was impressive. The spa offered welcomed relief from cycling soreness. The rooms are large with a fireplace. We ate in the restaurant and all of our group really enjoyed the food. We met people who came for just the weekend, though I... More

The quiet & serene setting is relaxing with a cozy sunset fire pit & simple elegant Spa. Comfy beds & roomy rooms. The hot tub & pool are perfectly placed overlooking the Bay inlet. The chef produces a delicious experience with locally grown & caught fresh ingredients! The fennel & artichoke bisque made us cry. You can't go wrong with... More

My husband and I really enjoyed the comfort of our room at the Bodega Bay Lodge. We were traveling to celebrate his birthday. The rooms are a nice size and the bathroom was larger than most hotel bathrooms. The premises and our room were very clean too. We enjoyed looking out our patio doors to a view of Bodega Bay... Relaxing, comfortable, nicely equipped room. Beautiful location and grounds, walk to the beach, watch the whales and/or the kite surfers from the balcony. Responsive and welcoming staff. A wonderful spot on the coast drive.

We took my Mom to Bodega Bay Lodge for her birthday, and discovered a treasure - spacious rooms with fireplaces, comfortable bed & furniture, peaceful environment, excellent & friendly staff, beautiful views of the bay and Pacific Ocean, and outstanding meals in the Duck Club on property. I definitely recommend this Lodge, and the wonderful scenic drives from there along... More

Be careful when choosing a room, not all are upgraded, ours was not. You definitely have to get a room on the second floor, you would not be able to see much if you didn't. The staff was very friendly and our breakfast room service was very good. As others have mentioned the wifi was ridiculous and zero cell service.... More
