This is a very beautiful hotel overlooking Bodega Bay. Our room was lovely, with a little balcony overlooking the water. The staff were all very nice. Our room had a nice big bathroom, a fireplace, and two extremely comfortable queen beds. Having the lovely restaurant there on the premises was an added bonus.

Took my girlfriend out of the city for a romantic 4th of July weekend getaway and, I have to say, Bodega Bay Lodge was the perfect place for a dream weekend. The gorgeous views of Bodega Bay were refreshingly peaceful. Our room was spacious with all the amenities (real fireplace, jacuzzi big enough for two, a fully stocked bar, and... More

If you know what to expect, this can be a fabulous place to visit. On the plus side, it has a great view of Bodega Bay and its beaches, with easy access to the state park and its two miles of unspoiled beaches. Every room has a great view, so you don't have to worry about tiered pricing just to... More

Went for a "girls' weekend"; there were five (5) of us in two (2) rooms of different styles. Great jumping-off point to explore northern Marin and Sonoma counties. The property is beautifully manicured with flowers and greenery--hummingbirds, cranes, butterflies and bunnies abound. The views of the ocean and Bodega Bay are stunning, especially at sunset. Fog in morning rolled out/burned... More

We had a wonderful 12 day vacation in California and stayed in some wonderful places. I have to say that the Bodega Bay Lodge was one of them, and it did not disappoint. The property looks exactly like the photos, although the view of the bay and the headland beyond is much better than photos can convey. It's wonderful for... More

We spent the night here on our trip up the coast. Had a terrific room-high ceiling, fireplace , new granite bathroom with jacuzzi tub and separate stall glass enclosed shower. Really Large room. So romantic! They also have a hot tub that has an infinity edge and it is large and oh so relaxing. Next to that is an outdoor... More

It's a warm, romantic and really gorgeous place to stay. Nature is the star. It gets chilly and foggy in the evening and early morning. Our room was large and super comfortable, with it's own cozy fireplace which we used. Views are beautiful as well as gardens, that hot tub was a highlight (don't miss!) and bring the warm robe... This was our 2nd visit to Bodega Bay lodge and spa. Wow-- great view, beautiful rooms, and warm, hospitable service. There is complimentary wine and cheese in the afternoons, and The Duck Club restaurant seves amazing, sophisticated cuisine with a lovely view of the bay. We toured sonoma wine country during the day and returned to this lovely, quiet resort... More

I spent three nights and loved my large upstairs room with a glorious water view and peace and quiet. Another reviewer commented negatively on the fog horn. Don't they know that it's part of the charm of the coast? The spa and the spa staff were the best; it's not a comprehensive spa but is more than adequate. Wonderful swimming... More

Friends and I stayed in Bodega Bay as we made our way up the coast to do wine tastings in Napa Valley. The lodge was as others reviewed it on TripAdvisor. They had a great wine/cheese reception in the lobby each day. One girlfriend ended up getting ill and so she stayed behind one of our tasting days and enjoyed... More
