Where the birds were filmed. Nice room overlooking the bay. Quiet and roomy. Clean and comfy. A bit pricy but I guess that's the location. Close to eating places and right on the hwy. A nice place to stay.nnthenwifi was touchy but I was able to connect eventually.

It's too bad that this place was not so great. It has a terrific location and it was reasonable. Our room was not very clean. The carpet was stained and there were food crumbs in several places. The screen door had holes in it and did not work properly. We reported it and a repair person did come promptly and... More

We stayed in a handicapped room, our request, and immediately noticed that two of the lamps were not plugged in. The freezer was so frozen up we couldn't get the ice cube tray out and the soap in the bathroom broke into fragments when I picked it up. The room was perfectly clean and the view from our balcony superb.

The guy at the desk at checkin was pretty ornery - room had no A/C. Balcony was so tall it offered almost no view, when we peeked over we could see the green algae on the bay. The breakfast was ridiculously bad - didn't even have half and half for the coffee... not even the powdered stuff. The room is... More

Didn't pre book but were made very welcome, the room was clean and comfortable with a lovely view, breakfast was a lot better than some, with a pleasant room to eat it in, we were asked if we would like a map showing the local area, all in all a good stopover.

We stayed at this place only to find a room that was dirty, stained carpet, and bedding was not what you would expect for the price of this room. The furniture was old, chipped up and mismatched. Screen door was torn. I would give them the benefit that maybe we just got a bad room but when we upgraded to... More

What a romantic room! Heart-shaped Jacuzzi in the bathroom with sliding doors that open to the bedroom and a fireplace! We had room #63, perfect for couples! Except for the cows, ducks and other wildlife, it was oh so quiet! The hotel is right by the road and yet, didn't hear any cars. The staff was friendly and the hotel... More

I booked this hotel a few week in advance for Saturday, June 28th. However, no reservation confirmation/info has been sent to email I provided. Assuming that my reservation didn't go through I booked another hotel. A month later, reviewing my credit card bill, I found out charges from the Bodega Coast Inn! Seriously?! Contacting the hotel didn't help. First, after... More

I planned this as a surprise 50th Birthday trip for my husband. We had stayed at this hotel before about 5 years earlier and loved the location being it is close to great restaurants and the Bay. When I called and made the reservation, I spoke with Melinda. She was personable and friendly. She said she was going to give... More
