I usually do not write reviews, however, I felt compelled because of the excellent service and value I received at the Bodega Bay Inn. I have stayed here twice now and was impressed both times. First, the owners, Ted and Susan, were so welcoming and personable- it really started my stay off on a positive note. The rooms were clean... More

We stayed at this hotel before. It used to have a really cool area to hang out in for people to eat and read. They still have this area in the hotel but they took away a lot of the food/drinks they used to have. They used to have cereal for example.. Not anymore, they used to have bread to... More

1st off, I am not a picky person so in all honesty, I would stay here again if needing a room in that area. But for those that are picky, I just wanted to give a few little details. The place is confusing on where to park when you arrive, you park in the shop parking lot and walk up... More

I was so pleased with this place. The rooms are large and clean, and the service was fabulous. I thought the kitchen area was very cute, it was also nice to have our own patio. They offer very affordable wine. This absolutely made our stay in Bodega wonderful and romantic!!! Thank you!!

Beautiful room in a property with some interesting sculpture. Very convenient to the Bay, shopping and stores. Excellent wifi. Plenty of heat on a cold night. Very much a one-off and not a cookie cutter chain. A few oddities like ripped bed covers, strangely designed shower, no tub and a drain pad guaranteed to stub a toe. Probably designed as... More

I did not know that an Inn on the California Coast could be so disappointing and costly at the same time. First we arrived and were told we would have to take our luggage from the strip mall parking lot to our room because the road up to the parking lot was washed out and only suitable for large SUV's... It's not a typical "motel", but perfect for Bodega Bay. We stayed here on a road trip down the California coast and had the Library room. Our room was right behind the check-in desk and we were a bit concerned about noise, but that there was no need for concern. It was a nice-sized, comfortable room and had a door... More

We stayed in the back building. This is a little quirky place to stay, not anything special on the grounds between buildings but pleasantly surprised that the room was very comfortable. Bed and linens were great. Bathroom seemed new. Quiet area. Slept great. One of the other reviews has a response by the inn stating how there are free foods... More

We stayed in the back house; our room was clean, adequately large and the porch was a plus, though the view wasn't much. The bathroom of our room seemed to have been recently updated. It is true that there is a communal aspect to the coffee room / kitchen area in the main inn, which some people may not be... More

Hi, I chose this accommodation for lack of any other vacancy in Bodega Bay and would not recommend it. I paid 200$ per night. During summer weekends one has to book two nights... What did I get: A room with King bed, one chair, one very old Bathroom (rusty shower curtain holder, Shower plastic-tiles not waterproof anymore, only two bars... More
