We have been camping here for 10+ years and had not been in several years. The campground is in good shape despite all the budget cuts. There are no towels in the bathrooms, and the bathrooms were mostly clean with Super thin TP! There was 1 host in the lower loop and none in the upper. We spoke to the... More

The campground was nice. We stayed at 13 across from the bathrooms. There was a visiting skunk the first night, but I found it rather cute, and as long as it didn't try to stink us we were fiine letting it be. The racoons were a bit more to deal with. Every night they would raid the trash cans infront... More

My husband and I went to Bodega Bay recently on our trip down the coast. The facilities themselves were nice but there are many things about this campground that we were not thrilled with. They have lots of SKUNKS! We were visited several times by 2 skunks throughout the night, they seemed to do a circle around several campsites in... More

We went to Bodega Dunes Campground twice, once in August 2010 and once in early September 2010. Both times were very nice, although the second time we had to stay in a less desireable site. Our group was made up of 3 families, each with 2 adults and two children, from 7-12. We had two adjacent sites- 35 and 37.... More

We have camped at the Dunes many times and decided to return to the coast this summer to try out our new cargo trailer for toting our gear. We ended coming here after making a reservation at Doran beach, but had to leave because the wind was just way to strong. Although it was still unusually breezy at the Dunes,... More

When we camped here we had a two year old and four year old. It was our first camping trip. The grounds are nice, the facilities clean, and air fresh. Unfortunately, our neighbors were adults who had planned chilled white wine and intellectual conversation until late at night. We were a family with young children. In the morning, when we... More

I had not camped in several years. BD was great. Hot showers, clean sites, friendly staff, and the sounds of nature and a fog horn to lull you off to sleep. Watch for nightly guests of the critter variety looking for food or garbage. Be prepared for quick weather changes. We were at site 88, a slight hike to the... More

We found the staff at Bodega Dunes campground to be most helpful and friendly. We stayed a number of days. But we were not so happy with some of the other campers. There were some very young campers just down a ways from us. We along with three fellow neighbors we found them to be loud, using profanity most of... More

This was my first visit to Bodega Dunes. Our group occupied 2 adjacent cites (24 & 26). There were a total of 12 people: 8 adults and 4 kids). The site itself was clean. We were right next to the camp host's site and the bathrooms. The first night, after the kids went to bed, the adults sat around and... More

We have stayed at Bodega Dunes many times over the years and found it to be beautiful and well kept with many friendly campers. It is a wonderful place to stay as there are many beaches within 5 minutes as well as the beach on the campgrounds. I have read the reviews on here and was suprised that people had... More
