Nice attendant. Big spots with privacy. Close to beach Marian and restaurants. The town is small but can get crowded. Best time to go is probably mid week especially in the summer. Mild temperatures. Clean grounds.

great campground and you select your own site. Ours was secluded, smallish lot but room for 2 tents and included a food locker, picnic table as well as a firepit with a cooking grate. Actual restrooms with hot water and showers available as well. Fresh water however it tastes a little odd so bring your own. We brought our firewood... More

Don't be fooled by the bay views as you scope out campsites 64-82. There are two busy roads -- a side road where horse trailers park and a main road -- between you and the water with traffic beginning on weekends as early as 6 am. We were fooled. Camp Host at 55 marked on the guest map is not... More

This coastal campsite is near a lot of beautiful beaches but it is not particularly nice looking. The sites are well kept but they are very close together, in straight line. Sound protection is zero. Behind our campsite was a horse path. The horses were scared of my dog. However, the worst part was the host was missing. We went... More

These campsites are fist come first served, and vary significantly in quality. I advise getting there early (particularly for a weekend camping trip) in order to secure a decent spot that's neither next to the busy road or immediately adjacent the bathrooms. Even the best sites are not a particularly scenic, but the surrounding area is of course beautiful. It's... More

Windy as all get out, but I guess that's expected. The site are close together, but mostly private with the trees and bushes. We didn't use any facilities so can't comment on that. It was nice to be so close to the city, but far enough away to get away from it all

We didn't actually camp here but we did drive around the camp and got out to look at the dunes and the ocean. Talk about crashing waves!! Beautiful. The dunes are really spread out and there are lots of place to walk around. The main driveway s well paved and taken care of. Would try it next time. Very rustic

My husband and our two dogs spent a holiday weekend camping at the Bodega Dunes Campground in our 14' Toy Hauler. The spaces do not have hookups, but include a fire ring, cupboard, and picnic table. The spaces were fairly level with bathrooms evenly spaced throughout the campground. Since it was winter, only a portion of the park was open.... More

Lady at entrance was helpful & friendly, crowd was pleasant & beach was nice... Looks like a wonderful place to camp after all these... More

Took 4 famlies camping here. Nice camp sites. Reasonable facilities. It's a bit of a walk to the beach but even our young kids were able to make it. The beach is nice and clean. Close to town so if you forgot anything its a quick trip to rum in to Bodega.
