We were there for the three day "stay Awhile" package July 20-23, 2014. Our room showed the lack of care the Inn is allotting to the upkeep. Our toilet didn't flush properly, we had three visits from the engineer and we still had a problem. The worst was that the toilet kept running and in a drought area that is... More

Bodega Bay is definitely worth a visit but next time I'd choose a different place. The Inn at the Tides consists of different bungalows each containing five units. Our room was somewhat dark and gloomy and did not have any outside space. We received a complimentary bottle of wine, which is a nice touch, but there is no cozy area... More

Terrible place to stay! Room was very dirty - stains on carpet, spider webs with spider actually on it, dead bugs on ceiling, very slow sink in bathroom, shower nozzle leaked. It was a very dark and gloomy place to stay. In need of a very big update. My advice is find another hotel!!!!

Great view if you get a room on top of the hill of both the bay and the beautiful grounds of the inn. Food was great in both of the Inn's restaurants and pleased with the service. Nice large spa that feels good considering the coastal weather. My only advise is that they should give red wine complementary considering there... More

We stayed here one night because we were celebrating a great friend's birthday. I think it is a bit pricey for what you get. But we did get, complementary, a wood-burning fireplace, a bottle of wine, robes, somewhat of an ocean view, and complementary breakfast across the street at The Tides. Good breakfast, but it was a smaller subset of... More

I just expected more from a room that cost me over $250. Perhaps more attention to detail. Couldn't check in until 5PM, they were busy too late to use the pool. Complementary warm white wine no frig. even if we wanted to drink the wine. Good thing we weren't alcoholics, water would be more appreciated, Available robes nice touch if... More

We had a pretty good stay at the Inn at the Tides. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, but a little updating would make them even better. The lobby was nice, and the pool was awesome. It was mostly outdoor, but a portion was inside the building. The hot tub was very large. The hotel gave us breakfast vouchers for... More

I stayed here without making a reservation and still got a really nice room. The beds were comfy, it was clean and quiet. The pool area was nicely kept and convenient as was ice machine. All the grounds were super tidy. The rate was okay considering it was last second and on a weekend. The staff was friendly. I appreciated... More

We asked for a view and got one...the rest needs an update including new towels are in order. Since we were there on a Monday, the Lodge restaurant and bar were closed. The Tides across the street was in walking distance and you can check my review for that one, later :( Maybe in the 60's one would take a... More

There are more than a couple of seaside inns/lodges/hotels sprayed along the Sonoma coast and our choice was a hillside compound of a about a dozen or so cedar shingled four-plexes situated on a hillside east of Route 1 overlooking Bodega Harbor. The higher up you go the better the view from your rooms. Some with patios, others with working... More
