Oh, where to start...let's start at the beginning. We booked a one night stay through Priceline a few weeks prior to our trip. When my husband looked at our itinerary, he realized that he booked a room with 2 Queen sized beds. This being somewhat of a romantic trip (our first since our son was born 18 months ago) he... More

Two night stay in vaulted ceiling king with fireplace overlooking pool. Pleasant check in with no issues. Room decor 80s that could use a freshening. Several units in upper far corner under renovation. Landscaping it top shelf with numerous beautiful trees, foliage, flowers, etc. good, fast free wifi. the on site Italian restaurant was excellent quality and value. Despite a... More

First impression. Beautiful grounds. Facilities that blend in well with the surroundings. Even-though the Inn is located across the highway from Bodega Bay, you don't feel deprived of beach access. Instead, the Inn offers great views and old school charm with lush landscaping, ferns, flowers, and lawn that's meticulously maintained. It's not so much new and designer modern as it... More

Family of three traveling through Sonoma, wanted a day by the ocean. Room was clean and spacious with comfortable beds. First floor unit had patio over looking the pool and bay. Windows opened that allowed fresh sea air into room. Bathroom clean with soft towels and robes. Complimentary breakfast and 20% discount on dinner. We were able to check into... More

Easy check-in, polite and pleasant front desk. When we arrived at our room, upon first look we were happy and excited. The view was excellent and we were happy to have an outdoor sitting area. But the more you settled in and looked around, the "shine" of the room fell away. The carpet was atrocious! Dirty, large stains of I... More

This place ruined our getaway. It was filthy dirty and needed work everywhere. I don't know what the maintenance men do there but it isn't maintenance. Dusty, stains on walls, broken blinds, horrid crusty carpets, the heater burned choking dust into the air. The breakfast was pretty good but didn't make up for the yuck. Nothing elegant about this place.... More

Upon our early arrival, we were greeted warmly and taken care of right away. We were able to check in a couple of hours earlier than the stated 4pm. The room was located on the second level with a view of Bodega Bay. To my husband's surprise, there wasn't a mini refrigerator or air conditioning. I overlooked those things. The... More

We love the Inn at the Tides for a getaway place during the winter months while winter hotel rates are in effect. This time we were there on a Sunday in early March. The location is beautiful and only a 1.5-hour drive from many populated areas in eastern Marin and southern Sonoma Counties. This beats the long drive to Mendocino... More

Nice location with great views of Bodega Bay, especially from 2nd floor rooms facing West. Room was comfortable, clean but dated, in need of update. A tough environment of marine air takes a toll on exposed wood structures. This hotel has been around for decades. Located in a natural environment right on Hwy 1. Close to Sonoma coast wine country,... More

Our room definitely could use a remodel; the blinds and one window was slightly broken, and the place felt a little old. The walls are very thin too, so we heard a lot from next door. Good location if you are playing golf, also a good complimentary breakfast at the rides restaurant.
