We stayed here for 4 nights in February 2015. Called to make a booking and the gentleman was very friendly and helpful and we got a lovely room. We had room 902 in the Bodega building. Upstairs, vaulted ceilings, fireplace (presto logs provided), end room, nice furnishings. The room was large and had a great view out to the bay... More

On a trip to Sonoma, we decided to check out Bodega Bay. The hotel was great. We booked the room on the upper terraces. The view of the bay was great - What a view of the sunset! The room was very hot when we arrive being with large windows facing west. The shutters had helped but the rapid drop... More

The last time we stayed- we were sitting on the couch and slapped our hands on the couch laughing and HUGE dust clouds appeared. Dirty bathrooms and awoke to staff listening to music and talking in Spanish so loud it sounded as if they were in our room. I notified the front desk and nothing was done. I later emailed... More

We have stayed at this hotel for the past three years. It is very convenient to all the popular spots and restaurants in this area. The thing we like the best is that the hotel is sheltered from ocean winds and on winter days the sun very warm. We like ground floor rooms as you have a patio that you... More

After reading some reviews, we were a little skeptical! We took a chance and were happy we did. We had room 905 - perfect view of the bay. There was a patio with two chairs and table to watch the sunset. The room was spacious and clean, except for an empty beer bottle on patio! Bed was comfortable. You were... More

The room and view was great-very clean and quiet. The staff was friendly. The restaurant had a great room but the portions were small and the calamari was not cooked! Overall the Biggest flaw-The workout room had a lack of fitness equipment and was rundown. Pool was nice though. Glad we got a discounted room!

Stayed here probably close to 28 years ago and remembered it fondly, it was posh then. Be careful if you book a standard room because a standard room is in desperate need of being renovated. The deep burgundy carpet has fading, the oak woodwork around fireplace is worn and the blue tile too, and the bath - don't get me... More

The Inn at the Tides is the perfect getaway for a romantic getaway. Have stayed there many times and always reserve the upstairs king room with vaulted ceiling and a fireplace. The best time to go is when it's raining and foggy. The Tides restaurant across the street is wonderful with views of the water. Many times you will see... More

We stayed for two nights this week and were very happy with our experience. I got a bit of a discount through Booking.com, and though it was still a bit pricey, it was worth it. The property is on a hillside facing the bay, with numerous small, two-story beachy-looking, 'lodges' amidst attractive and well-maintained landscaping, backing up to green pastures... More
