Fernando is the best type of host. Welcoming, knowledgeable and an amazing chef (he used to own a restaurant in SF). Fernando is passionate about food and wine. When I mentioned my affection for Portuguese reds, Fernando told me to wait a second and he ran off to his cellar and brought back two bottles of wine. We opened them... More

What a gem we stumbled across while traveling Highway 1. Fernando and his wife are outstanding hosts. You will be fascinated by their story on how they became B&B owners. We had the whole tour of his garden and animals. Our room was very large, comfortable and quiet.

From the moment you arrive you are enveloped in warm Portuguese hospitality from Fernando and his family. They simply cannot do enough for you. The rooms are 4 star with beautiful bathrooms and great beds, the breakfast is cooked before you in the kitchen - just say what you would like (go for the omelette!) but the real treat is... More
