On our way from Yosemite to Death Valley, which was - unluckily - on a Saturday we were "obliged" to stay in this hotel since all of the hotels in Bishop were full, including all of the other cities like Independance and Lone Pine as well. So we didn't really have a choice. The reception looked ok at first sight,... more

My husband and I needed a place to stay on a Friday night and this was the only place with a room. We were charged $120.00 for this dilapidated shack of a place. Everything was falling apart and it was smelly and dirty. Even the stairway was blocked by overgrown shrubs. In a word....ICK!! more

Located just off the main road (which isn't that busy) in a quiet spot but within easy walking distance of bars, shops and restuarants. The room was full of amenities including fridge, microwave, tea/coffee facilities and aircon. Staff were really nice, friendly and helpful. The breakfast was also pretty good with a array of donuts, cereal and fruit. There is... more

The hotel covers basic needs for a reasonable price - such as: Breakfast, outdoor pool, iron and iron board, refrigiator (in some rooms), remote control 27" TV (cable), fax, heat lamp, aircon, clock radio, ice machine, geniune non-smoking rooms (good!!) and free local calls. The service at the desk is great no matter what time of day it is. We... more

We recently satyed at the Rodeway Inn, Bishop, during a trip around California. We stayed in 7 different hotels on our journey, and I can definately say that the Rodeway Inn was not only the worst hotel of the trip, but the worst hotel we have EVER stayed in! For a start, the floor was filthy. I had white socks... more

We were unfortunate enough to spend the night in this old dumpy motel. It needs a complete remodel. The carpet was dirty, there were several holes punched in the door leading to the bathroom, the lamp shades were old and bent out of shape, OLD bathroom-needs remodeling. Cigarette burns in bedspread and chair of NON-Smoking room! Filthy bathroom vent smelled... more

I was very disappointed with this hotel. They lost my reservation to start with. The rooms are dilapidated and the staff was not very helpful. If that wasn't bad enough they double charged me for my room and I am still trying to get that fixed. You can do much better elsewhere. more

Drove from Las Vegas, through Death Valley and needed somewhere to stay on our way to Yosemite. This hotel was perfectly adequate for an overnight stay. Clean, functional and right in the middle of town. more
