Newly remodeled rooms, carpet has been replaced with laminate flooring, additionof modern décor and furnishings. Defintely worth the price, just off the main road. We stayed 2 nights in the bungalow, 2 bed room with full kitchen. Expect quiet sleep with all that you need. New staff are friendly and attentive to get whatever is it you may need.

I was looking for lodging in Bishop via the Internet when I came across the El Rancho. I wanted to avoid the motel chains and fix something a bit more classic. The reviews I read were all very favorable so I thought It'd be worth it to give the place a go. As soon as I opened the door I... More

I read the reviews on Expedia, and Yelp, and elected to stay here on a little get away my Fiance and I took to Bishop. We planned on getting married at June Lake. Don't let the, "El Rancho Hotel," sign fool you. They have put allot of money into this motel. Our room was immaculate, cozy, and amazingly quiet! The... More

The owners were VERY friendly and SUPER helpful we woke up to a flat tire and they helped us change it over as we are two girls on a cross country road trip:) the rooms were very nice and up to date! The price was cheap for such a quality room. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone traveling... More

This motel was the perfect choice on our way up north with our dogs. It is in a great location that is quiet and safe. The check in was fast and easy. Everyone was very nice and helpful. Beds were comfortable. Everything worked great. It appears that everything has been updated and it flows very well. Will stay again!

I can always count on a decent nights sleep at the El Rancho. The rooms are always clean, the people friendly, and there is an air of excitement with all of the travelers coming and going. The obvious reason stay at the El Rancho is the cost. Where can you get it decent room these days for under $50? This... More

Our overnight visit was greatly enhanced by staying at El Rancho. It was clean and simple, but with some very nice touches that made it several cuts above a typical "road house" - a nice bed with fresh linens, big fluffy towels, a fridge, microwave and coffeemaker. The price was right, too, only $50 for a week night. The El... More

This little motel two blocks off the main drag is a real gem. It offers everything you need for a great stay at a very affordable price (under $60): great cable, in-room coffee, microwave, fridge, and decent pillows. Bathroom is a little cramped, but the room is very stylish and clean. Best part is not hearing the trucks rumbling down... More

From the outside this place looks like a dump. But it has a number of attributes, starting with American personnel and, I would presume, local ownership. The room was quite small but functional. Very quiet. Bed was comfortable. Tiny shower. A table on which to eat from which you could actually see the medium sized flat screen tv. Excellent wi... More
