Room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Perfect stay after a long drive from Vegas. Motel was behind the Main Street. The area was safe and the staff was nice. We both had a goodnight sleep and felt rested for our long drive the next day. Great place

Stayed here for one night passing through Bishop when everything else was booked (traveling with dogs). Rooms are (reasonably) clean, but very, very small, as is the bathroom. The motel is on a quiet side street, which is a big plus in my book. Bed was okay. Super loud A/C window unit, cable didn't work properly, TV remote was not... More

Bishop is a really odd place all gun shops, Mexican food, fishing shops and ..... not much else. Stayed whilst passing through, the old couple running it seem sweet the rooms are clean and nice - not bad for the price. Had no reason to complain wifi was poor.

I was passing through Bishop, CA overnight and needed accommodations. My options were limited because I was travelling with my dog. While Motel 6 always accepts pets, they are not on my list of favorite places to stay. I went online to see what was available in pet friendly hotels in Bishop. I was struck by some of the reviews... Stayed for one night as a stopover on my way to Death Valley from Yosemite. Bishop is quite remote and a pretty cool place, has a very American feel. The surrounding Mountains are beautiful. I arrived in the evening, the rooms are clean and you can park right outside your room. the TV is good quality and has a load... More

It was full so business in Bishop must be hopping, but I think I could have done better. I don't mind in staying in local motels, but this one's room was SMALL. Trouble with the TV, but management eventually got that working. I just would like something better for the money.

The El Rancho is not the Hilton, but then you're in Bishop not Miami Beach. Yes, it is the 1950's motor court. It has been kept up with new paint and homey landscaping. Yes, it's across the street from a trailer park...and??? There were zero problems while we stayed there 2 nights. The office is VERY small, it will hold... More

This is an old-school classic definition of a "motel" where one parks their car right outside their motel door. Don't be put-off by first impressions when you pull up. It's old and the grounds and office show their age. But my room was clean, had gotten painted in modern colors, and had many nice amenities, including a refrigerator with small... More

We stayed at El Rancho motel for one night whilst touring California. Check in was quick and efficient. The room was clean and comfortable and we had free parking in a space outside the room. The room had a small fridge, coffee perculator and a table and chair. The motel is opposite a trailer park but we didn't experience any... More

On our way to Reno, we used tripadvisor to find a place for the night. We found El Rancho and booked it online. We arrived at the motel after 10pm. We did not realize it was closed. It was not well lit and was across the street from an old trailer park, and to be frank, it scared my wife... More
