Intended to pass right through Bishop, but decided that we wanted to spend more time in this nice little town. This motel looked decent, and the price was right, so we took a chance. It was a nice surprise to open the door and find a clean, updated, yet quaint and cozy room. I don't know if it was the... More

The receptionist was friendly enough when we arrived, but the rooms we had were in need of refurbishment. The general appearance of this motel could do with being smartened up. However, it's in a good location within a short drive of restaurants. Clean sheets and comfortable bed. Okay for a one night stop.

We were meeting family here after a day in Mammoth Lakes to see the Bristlecone Pine Forest. From the pictures, this looked like a funky little place in a good way. The rooms are cute but they are small. They've made an effort to upgrade the rooms, & the upgrades in place are nice. The bed was quite comfy, the... More

If you're looking for an inexpensive motel to stay, then the Trees Motel is definitely a sound enough choice for a night to stay. Great location, walking distance away from bars/restaurants. The rooms are fully air conditioned, they are also impeccably maintained and the beds are up there with the most comfortable I have ever slept on. There is also... More

Exactly what I hoped it would be. Small, convenient motel with a very friendly welcome. Simple room with everything I wanted, 2 nice comfortable double beds, decent showers, fridge, air con, tv etc. Good parking right outside. Nice little town just a short walk away with good bars and restaurants - you must try Eric SCHAATS bakery if you stay... More

I thought, ok try a quaint place. No! What I got was a small dingy , dirty office to check in at. My room circa 1960's. Hair in the bathtub, hair on the walls. Lumpy soft, too soft, bed.noise from small road as the Windows were so old they let all noise in. I see an attempt to up grad... More

I stayed here with four friends (we are all 21) as part of our journey across California and it was certainly an area none of us had heard of before. Our room was decent enough - three large beds and a small bathroom. We had no problems staying there. What made this place so memorable was the town - a... More

I can't speak to the quality of the hotel because we never stayed there. We booked a room via Expedia (so we thought) at Trees Motel in Klamath, CA (600 miles away). Turns out the reservation was in Bishop, CA. When I learned of this and spoke to the Bishop motel I informed them that we were nowhere near at... More

Had a great room, one of the remodeled rooms from a few years ago.. plenty of space and very comfortable. The motel is old and still shows signs of age, however the owners work to keep it as clean and nice as possible. Had the kitchenette this time which was nice - were able to eat in the room and... We choose this place because it was on your way between death valley and yosemite. The girl at the desk was very nice... But the room very dirty, with a lot of dust like the cleaning didn't have made since a very long time. Fortunately the sheets were clean.
