Booked a 2 night stay here as part of a West Coast Road trip. Rang at short notice but Myriam was great and accomodated us in a separate bungalow which she usually lived in. I think she moved in with mum and dad who have their own bungalow in the grounds. On arrival we were met by Myriam who was... More

Joseph house had it all. To begin with, the hostess /owner Myriam was among the best. Friendly, helpful, but not in your face. INformative, and a FABULOUS cook for breakfast. She was so lovely. Location; within walking distance to several restaurants; Myriam gave us the run down on them all and let us choose. GROUNDS and Garden; so peaceful and... More

Fabulous B&B en route between Las Vegas and Yosemite. A very warm welcome from Myriam on arrival - wine very much appreciated. Beautifully presented, large rooms - perfect for their setting. Myriam couldn't have been more helpful with restaurant suggestions and an unexpected re-route to Yosemite due to snowfall on our planned route. We were able to get pre-breakfast coffee... More

We have traveled the world and stayed in many different B&Bs, and the Joseph House Inn ranks among the top. Walking distance to downtown, beautiful ground, spacious room, spotless bathroom, superb breakfast, and Miriam is an excellent host and an encyclopedia of Owen's Valley. After a day's hard outdoor activity, one can relax in the comfortable living room, in front... More

We booked 2 rooms at the Joseph house for 1 night only. As my family normally prefers cabins or houses, because of having more privacy, they were a bit sceptic going in. However, they now agree with me, that this accomodation was one of the highlights of our trip. It starts with the rooms itself, who are very nicely decorated,... More

We have stayed in Bishop several times before and never been very happy with our accommodations. The Joseph House Inn was a delightful surprise! Everyone was so welcoming and helpful. We stayed in the Rose Room, which was wonderful. Breakfast the next morning was superb. This was our first bed and breakfast experience, so we were a bit hesitant to... More

Like pretty much everyone has said, the Joseph House Inn is a complete gem. We only stayed there as Bishop was the right distance for us after Death Valley and before Yosemite, but once we'd stayed here and taken a look at the local restaurants and the local scenery, we could easily have stayed longer. We were welcomed with an... More

We had a great night with Myriam and Hilde. They really welcomed us into their home, gave us great advice on local restaurants (and booked a table for us), and even ran after us when we left something behind in the room. The bed was huge and comfortable; the breakfast was delicious, taken on the beautiful patio. Highly recommended.

What a wonderful place. Myriam really makes you feel at home. Not only that, but she REALLY knows the area. Don't worry about the details of your visit. Best to work that out with her when you get there. Wonderful! I'm already missing afternoon wine in the beautiful gardens.
